Farmington Area Citizens to End Sweatshops (FACES) is an organization concerned with globalization and the prevalent sweatshop industry both in the US and overseas.  Our members are University of Maine at Farmington students, staff and faculty, as well as community members from throughout the greater Farmington area.  Since March of 2000, we've been working to educate ourselves and our community about fair labor issues.  For an overview of our organization and what we've been up to, please visit the links below.

Maine is grappling with fair labor issues!  As part of the Maine Clean Clothes Alliance (MECCA), FACES has been mobilizing to help support and influence a newly formed commission to study ethical purchasing and investing by the state.
