Walther P38 100 Year Anniversary Edition
This is a special 100 Year Anniversary Edition of the Walther P38. It is the company's
anniversary and not the P38's. This edition was limited to 1000
copies manufactured in late 1985 through 1986. It is a standard
alloy framed P38 with a parkerized steel slide and barrel. The grips are postwar black checkered plastic.
As can be seen in the image, the slide is engraved with P38
100 Jahre, the Walther banner, 1886-1986.
The right side of the slide is stamped with the older Interarms design and "Made in Germany" near the front.
This pistol is NIB and unfired. I did the 24kt. gold inlay on the engraving after checking to see if the value would decrease if I did this. Value is seldom affected by either white, gold or silver inlay on most collectables. The inlay should however compliment the pistol if it is done.
