Hi, c'mon right in!!

Some of you have written asking what happened to my old site, "Over The Rainbow: Backgrounds, Clip Art and Web Page Graphics." That one has gone forever to the great Internet in the Sky. But here we are back with a new version for you--lots of old and new graphics for you to download.

We have TONS of way cool hand-painted backgrounds, rainbows, textures, wallpapers, banners, transparent text page titles, and more. My backgrounds are well-known for being text-friendly.

The response to this page has been heartwarming and rewarding. Thanks to those who have written to say that my backgrounds are "the best on the Web."

CONSERVATIVE BACKGROUNDS In this section you will find a few samples of my exclusive paper and fabric textures, cork, linen, parchment, ridged, weaves, and more.

RAINBOW BACKGROUNDSHere are some rainbow backgrounds people have liked so well. New ones were added in February. Some are not full spectrum, but are blendings of colors. Colors range from soft pastels to brilliant.

BATIK BACKGROUNDS These are surely some of the most unusual backgrounds you will find on the Web. They started out as scans of exotic batik fabric swatches, which I digitally manipulated and rendered the tiles seamless. Some are light and some are dark, so you will need to experiment with text colors. They also make great Windows/Mac wallpapers. NOTE: I did not create the designs on the batik fabrics which were scanned; so these may only be used for non-commercial purposes.

LIGHT BACKGROUNDS--In this section, you will find my fancy, very text-friendly fancy designer patterns and colors.

DARK BACKGROUNDS can set the proper mood for some Web pages.

FLOWER BACKGROUNDS--Here you will find my flower and floral type backgrounds the ladies like so well.

NATURAL TEXTURE BACKGROUNDS Brick, denim, leopard spots, wood.

BLANK BANNER BACKGROUNDS

These are blank banners for Web page headers, advertising programs, or link exchange programs--beautifully textured, shaded, and embellished--ready for you to add your own text or graphics.

PLAIN SOLID BACKGROUNDS

These plain solid background tiles have no artistic merit; but I have created them as a public service. If you need a solid color background other than black or white, it is very difficult to get exactly the right color and shade using the # hexadecimal color codes. With this large palette of 110 solid color tiles, you can have exactly the right color. The brightness and color saturation can be adjusted until you are perfectly satisfied. Each tile is only 1k.
