On July 26, we arrived in Copenhagen after about 8 hours of flying time and 6 hours of layovers. We had the morning of the 27th to tour Copenhagen and what a beautiful and clean city it is. We went to Tivoli Gardens, the City Hall Square and Our Lady's Church. The Church is quite famous for it's statues of Christ and the Apostles, having the world's largest pipe organ. The pulpit is on the side of the church so all parishoners have the same oportunity to hear the sermon. And last, but not least, this is where the royal wedding between HRH Crown Prince Frederik and Miss Mary Elizaeth Donaldson took place.

July 30 - Dover England--After a 2 hour bus ride from Dover to London, we set out on a 90 minute walk which took us acroos the Westminister Bridge, past Big Ben and Westminister Abbey. Past the end of Downing Street (there were iron gates blocking the street entrance)so all we could see was the sign post. Onward we crossed the street leading to Buckingham Palace, called the Mall, passed the Admiralty Arch to Trafalgar Square. After lunch, it was off to Kensington Apartments and the beautiful exhibit of Princess Diana's dresses.

The entrance to #10 Downing Street.

Vigo, France

July 31-There was a mix-up in our advanced registration so we did not get to go to Paris but spent the day walking thru the streets of LeHarve. Just what I would expect a small French town to look like.

August 2--Vigo, Spain--Another walk around town. We walked from the dock all the way to the Castillo at the top. It was a long uphill walk but well worth the trip. The view was magnificent and Wally make it all the way.
