REVIEW

This is Tom Aitken's Review of the game, all the opinions are of Tom Aitken and are only his. There are 4 review criteria, Graphics, Gameplay(control, challenge
,ect.), Sound and Music. All the Critieria are rated out of 25%, except Gameplay its out of 50%.

Graphics
The graphics of EB Zero are, of course RPG like, so they can be kind of simple, but I like that because it gives the game the EB look. The graphics are good for a NES game, and especially for an emulated game. The Battles take place on black background, but the enemies look good, although thier not animated. The overworld characters are well animated. Graphics scores a:
21% out of 25%

Gameplay
Since gameplay is a multi catagory section, I'm going to start with control. The control in EB Zero is RPG style, very simple. Next we go on to Challenge, EB Zero is WAY more challenging than, EB for SNES, its hard to even get started. Now, finally... Other gameplay elements. EB Zero has a high rate of battles(sometimes you can only take one step, before you get attacked), and it can be very bothersom to get back to town, or to a hotel, although you can run away pretty easily(sometimes!!). This is probably the only thing I dislike about EB Zero, other then the fact you can carry even less Items in your backpack then you can in EB(SNES), although when you equip an item it leaves your inventory, unlike the SNES game that keeps your Equiped item in the Backpack, but thats for my review of the SNES game. Battles are very quick and you can select your commands easily. Gameplay scores a:
40.5% out of 50%

Sound & Music
The Sounds of EB Zero are very basic. Smashing sound for a hit on you or a enemy. Other sound effects for PSI attacks and helpers. The Music is the best, since this a prequel to EB(SNES) you'll be having deja vu over the music, because alot of it is the same as in the SNES game, only in NES quality, but just because it's NES quality doesn't mean it bad, it's almost as good as the SNES games music(look for music downloads soon). Sound and Music scores a:
24.5% out of 25%

Final Thoughts
This game is great, after playing it I don't know why Nintendo didn't just release the game them selves. If you love EB this a must download you can find it at most emulation sites. I haven't finished the game yet but, I can't wait to see whats next.

Overall Score: 86% out of 100%
