Amber is my sweet little kitty. As you can see in her picture above, she is a light yellow domestic shorthaired Tabby. I got her at the end of June of 2002. She was just a baby kitten when I got her. A friend from work got his neighbor to come by one day with her kittens to see if I wanted one. At first I was considering a gray kitty, but when I held Amber and saw how sweet she was, I coudn't resist. She came home with me that day and we've been inseparable since. When I first got her she was very shy, but now she is a much more confident kitty. She doesn't get scared when new people come around anymore. Amber loves to play with her toys and scratch on her scratching pad. She also loves playing with her gray kitty cat friend, Meatie (also a tabby). When she and Meatie get together, they love to chase each other around the house, play out on the balcony, and snuggle up together on my bed. Sometimes when Meatie's not with her, Amber follows me around meowing as if to say "When can Meatie come to play again?"
