Apani
means pure. Not all bottled water products measure up to the purification
standards that define the Apani name. Apani bottles only purified water
which originates from approved wells or springs and is processed to meet
a standard of purity. The standard of purity established by the FDA and
defined by the US Pharmacopoeia requires less than 10 parts per million
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
There are seven steps to the process Apani uses to make the purest refreshment:
Step 1: Prefiltration
Apani uses a 5 micron pre-filter that eliminates suspended solids, colors,
and odors.
Step 2: Water Conditioning
This subtracts calcium and magnesium thus preventing water and water hardness.
Step 3: Carbon Absorption
This removes chlorine and chemical compounds.
Step 4: Secondary Stage Filtration
This removes all suspended solids and organisms above 5 microns
in size.
Step 5: Reverse Osmosis
Removes dissolved solids, biological matter, disolved organics
and chemicals.
Step 6: Third Stage Filtration
An additional filter which removes all suspended solids and organisms
above 5 microns in size.
Step 7: Ozonation
A sanitizing agent that leaves no residual. Ozonation works even
after the container is sealed for ultimate freshness.
