Patience Loader's father (James
Loader) converted to Mormonism and the family left Aston Rowant to make the trek to the
United States and eventually to Utah. Patience kept a diary of events on the crossing and
her story is now set to be made into a film. Sweetwater Films, a division of Pacific
Island Films, will raise $US 2.5 million to produce "The Long Walk of Patience
Loader".

Eric Langley Loader was my Dad's (George Frederick Loader) brother. He fought in Gallipoli and at the Battle of the Somme. He died during service on Friday 22 September 1916, age 20.
