In an effort to make everyone's life easier, I decided to give Hosted Stories their own little corner of MANIA. The main Library page was taking quite a bit of time to load and since patience is a rare virtue these days, we decided to make your Library experience more enjoyable. (Now will you stop all those emails riddled with complaints about loading time? Yeesh.) In an effort to please you, the faithful MANIAc, I'm gonna spare ya the detailed disclaimer crap. Suffice it to say, "We dunno them. They dunno us".
**You may notice that the ratings of these hosted stories may 'overshoot' their true bracket, had they been films and not fan fic. I'm a firm believer in being responsible, and that feature is simply my way of making sure young eyes don't stumble upon something that may not necessarily be appropriate for them.**

The sequel to the heartwarming, "Paging Dr. Lonely Heart", Kim Ann has once again taken a unique premise, using it to bring characters like Molly and Howie alive. Skylar and Kevin rejoin the other pair in a continuation of their saga in a tale you'll surely enjoy. MANIA Rating: R for adult language, humor, and situations. Status: *COMPLETE*
*I Wish I May, I Wish I Might*written by Kim Ann. A flawless blend of established romantic liaisons with budding love, this companion piece to "Paging Dr. Lonely Heart" and "Years Ago, In A Far Away Place" is just as enchanting as it's counterparts. MANIA Rating: R (tentatively) Status: *COMPLETE*
*United in Grief, Torn Apart in Love*, written by Kim Ann. In the wake of tragedy, friends and lovers struggle to move on with their lives, seeking the healing power only time can bring. "United..." takes place five years hence and focuses on the couples you've come to know and love, granting you one last peek into their lives via this enrapturing fourth installment of the popular series which began with "Paging Dr. Lonely Heart". Kim Ann's back again and better than ever as she weaves the continuation of a story you simply can't forget. MANIA Rating: R, dealing with adult themes, issues. Status: *COMPLETE*
*The Girl in the Glass* written by Kim Ann. Abbie's a successful web journalist with everything going for her. When she's offered a job which could boost her career, Abbie's ecstatic. When AJ grudgingly agrees to a vacation in Ireland with Howie, his disappointment at the seemingly bleak atmosphere quickly turns to enchantment as he encounters an Irish lass who's determinded to throw caution to the wind and win the heart of her "Yank". Beautifully written, Kim Ann comes through stronger and better than ever in this highly entertaining, often emotional piece filled with the rich heritage of the Emerald Isle. *There Comes A Time*, written by Kim Ann. Avery Sims, an interior design entreprenuer, becomes aquainted
with Nick Carter in a less than cordial (not to mention traditional) manner. However, a rocky start cannot stand in the way of what soon becomes a priceless friendship. Will that friendship withstand the stormy seas of life? Will there come a time for them to face their fears? MANIA Rating: PG Status: *COMPLETE*
*His Eyes Couldn't Lie*, written by Kim Ann. THERE IS NO TABLE OF CONTENTS YET CREATED FOR THIS PIECE. Posted in "parts" which contain approximately 5 chapters each. No full description yet available, but this piece is sure to enthrall you from the start - I'm certainly hooked. I think the most appropriate thing I can say to promote this one, is that His Eyes Couldn't Lie will seduce you with it's erotic entanglments, lovelorn themes, and exotic atmostphere. *Good Things Come In Twos*written by Kim Ann. A poignant story of loss, love, and the search for that special someone. Find out what happens when Howie and AJ encounter a set of twins that will undoubtedly change their lives forever. MANIA Rating: PG-13 Status: *COMPLETED*
*Gummy Bears and John Secada*written by Kim Ann. After spending only a handful of hours together, Madigan and Howie have a special bond, one not limited by distance, time, or physical barriers. A piece about the fires of love which refuse to die out.:0) MANIA Rating: PG-13 Status: *COMPLETED*
If Only In Our Dreams, written by Kim Ann. While a bit of N Sync fiction might seem a tad out of place here, on the MANIA shelves, it's important to note that a truly great author is not made by the characters she chooses to focus on, it's the story she tells. And in this case, "If Only In Our Dreams", is the sort of fantastic read we've come to expect from Kim Ann. You'd be depriving yourself of a wonderful experience if you let your boyband preferences dictate whether or not you read this story. It's up to you, but both Carrie Ann and Jessi highly recommend this piece! And keep an eye out for the sequel.... MANIA Rating: PG Status: *COMPLETE*
*No Regrets* written by Mackenzie Ross. A wonderful, often poignant, yet humorous blend, this story is certain to captivate you from beginning to end. The embers of a lost love smolder in Mackenzie's heart, and when she becomes reaquainted with the very man she never quite forgot, troubles brews as both wrestle with personal demons, the powers that be, and significant others. Well written and well worth your time, "No Regrets" makes a fabulous new addition to the MANIA shelves. MANIA Rating: R, for sexual situations. Status: *POSTING IN PROGRESS*

When Dani stumbles upon a mysterious symbol embedded in the Boys' new enhanced CD, she and Howie, along with their friends AJ and Sam, must stop a plot to discredit the Boys with their fans and within the music industry. *I Don't Care Who You Are*written by Mary. A colorful yarn in which Mary has incorporated an absolutely fantastic sense of humor, sure to have you laughing right out of your seat. Find out what happens when the Boys sign up to help reconstruct a house for charity, then unwittingly stumble upon three women to whom chaos is second nature. MANIA Rating: R for ADULT language and references. Not recommended for the younger MANIAc. Status: *IN PROGRESS*
*Do Something*, written by Rach. One of my newest personal favorites, Rach's story is best described as "enchanting". Every romantic spirit hopes to one day meet their soul mate, the one with whom their destiny is inexplicably entwined. But when Kevin comes face to face with the person who's the other half of himself, will he have the courage to "Do Something"? MANIA Rating: PG, at present. Status: *COMPLETE*
*Untitled*, written by Rach. A wonderfully written story that routinely alternates between hilarity and poignant insight into one girl's heart and mind. Two thumbs up and a snap for Rach's innovative voice and style! MANIA Rating: PG. Status: *IN PROGRESS*
*The Book*, written by Lisa and MaryB. A chance online encounter leads one man on an emotional journey; a tour de force focusing on love, loss, and the enduring strength of the human spirit. He's coming to grips with habored grief and she's the one person who just might be able to help. Wonderfully well written, poignant, and best of all, realistic. MANIA Rating: PG-13 to R (the latter applies to the final chapter) Status: *COMPLETE*
*Pohoja Ch'onsa*, written by Lisa and MaryB. Maya and Allona run a company by the name of "Pohoja Ch'onsa", Korean for "Guardian Angel". Hired to help the Boys remain on an even keel while riding the waves of pop superstardom, Maya puts her training in Hapkido and Taekwondo to good use, acting as a bodyguard aboard their tour. Allona, a massage artist and Yoga expert, offers her services to help the Boys maintain emotional and mental health, and relaxation. Though it seems as if they've hit paydirt with such well known, high paying customers, the situation quickly becomes much more than 'just another job'. I highly recommend this engaging read; if you loved "The Book", "Pohoja Ch'onsa" is sure to capture your fancy as well. MANIA Rating: PG-13 to R for adult content. Read wisely. Status: *COMPLETE*
*Wrong Number* written by Lisa and MaryB. On a scale of 1 to 10, Lianne's life rates about a 2 on the excitment meter - but that's about to change as she dials seven little numbers....not the correct seven, perhaps, but seven digits nonetheless that will instantly propel her existance off the charts! Joined by her funky, chic friend Denise, the two women embark upon an impromtu journey that will result in the romantic liaisons of their dreams....and all because Lianne dialed the "Wrong Number". A very entertaining piece with an ending that will leave you first speechless, then laughing out loud. Brought to you by the authors of "The Book" and "Pohojo Ch'onsa", this is a guaranteed good read! MANIA Rating: R for adult content. Status: *COMPLETE*
*Too Late*, written by Emma. Sometimes, love is where we least expect to find it. Sometimes love is right in front of our face and sometimes, we fail to realize its there until it's too late. Ashley's found love in the arms of Nick Carter only to discover that she'd waited to long to give her heart to him because she'd already given her hand to someone else. The best possible praise I could give regarding this story: it's about Nick, and I LIKE IT! If you're a true MANIAc, you know what a rave review that is, coming from me. MANIA Rating: None as of yet. *Reincarnate*, written by Meghan. A few simple words simply cannot do justice as an explanation of the plot of this fine piece. The first sci-fi/fantasy genre story that's come to rest on the MANIA shelves, I genuinely enjoy reading Meghan's work. With underlying themes a-plenty, and characters you'll love, "Reincarnate" will worm it's way into your heart and activate your imagination in a heartbeat. Jumping from historical locations, to the present, to the supernatural, trust me when I say: don't pass this one up. MANIA Rating: PG-13 for coarse language and violence. Status: *IN PROGRESS*
*Love For An Eternity?*written by Johanna. Star-crossed lovers must explore their feelings to discover the meaning of true love through the fog of illusion and fantasy. With various twists and turns in the plot, this cliffhanger will keep the reader wondering and looking to the next page. MANIA Rating: PG per request of author in regards to high emotional content. *Paintings In My Mind*, written by Cheryl. Howie finds an unusual escape from the problems of his life only to find a new talent, develop new friendships and learn the power of the fantasy he creates. In a word: EXCELLENT! *Even In My Dreams* by Cheryl! One of the best short stories you'll EVER read! Featuring Howie. HEY! It's a shorty, so if we give a description, we may say TOO much. Just read it, you won't regret it. MANIA Rating: PG-13 for mature subject matter, mild sexual content.Status:*COMPLETED*
Always and Never the Same written by Cheryl. A fabulous new short story which is written with an riveting emotional voice; compelling. *A Song in Every Silence*written by Cheryl. When several identical anonymous letters arrive in the mail, AJ is caught up in the guessing game of their origin. *Conversations in F Minor*written by Jesse. An fabulous addition to MANIA, this trilogy of short stories is sure to pique your interest and more importantly -keep it! I'm very pleased to be hosting such a series, as I'm sure you'll find it different from anything you've read thus far. MANIA Rating: G. Status: *COMPLETE*
I regret to inform you that Jesse has opted to discontinue work on her story "Half A World Away" as she no longer feels it depicts an appropriate situation and the fire of inspiration has long since burned out. I loved hosting her spectacular piece while it lasted, but be sure to look for her latest, "Sands of Zanizibar", coming soon to a shelf near you.

A poignant and honestly voiced tale of a man who's struggling to find himself while simultaneously attempting to free his body, mind, and spirit from the shackles of addiction. Wonderfully written, Jesse's talent is unmistakable in "Sands..." and it's certainly my pleasure to be hosting such a compelling piece. *Tell Me Why*, written by Dawn. A story of love, jealousy, and violence featuring the Backstreet Boys. When tragedy befalls two members of the popular group how do they overcome the obstacles in their fight for life and for the love of the same woman? Not recommended for readers under the age of 13. *ABC*, written by Kimberlyn. This is an absolutely fabulous story depicting the consequences fame can have on a relationship, while deftly illustrating the tangled web of emotions everyone feels at one point or another in a coupling. The Simple Guide to the Difficult Task of Living, written by Kimberlyn. A short piece, in which you are free to cast your favorite Boy as the man who's subject to contemplation. Truly a charming read, one that had me enchanted and aloft on a flight of the imagination in seconds flat. MANIA Rating: G Status: *COMPLETE*
Turn Back Time, written by Kimberlyn. Another wonderful addition to Kimberlyn's shelf here on MANIA, "Turn Back Time" is a unique piece in every way. From the layout, to the premise, to her style of writing, Kimberlyn is sure to capture and hold your attention with the sort of deft talent we've come to love. In the first installment, "Getting Reacquainted", we are introduced to Indigo, a talented producer who's shrouded in mystery. In addition to her enigmatic qualities, there's also a bone deep connection between herself and one of the Boys. Will they ever be able to "Turn Back Time" and move beyond their past? *Without You*written by Andie. A wonderful piece, which we HIGHLY recommend. Focuses on love and relationships while dealing with guilt, loss, apprehension and fear. Breanna find love in an unlikely place. But when their relationship is thrown into the midst of his career and her fate, will it withstand the pressure? *Love In A Movie Theater*written by Amy. A piece which centers around Brian when he inadvertantly discovers his ideal woman in an unlikely avenue. A classic case of being in the right place at exactly the right time. MANIA Rating: G Status: *IN PROGRESS*
