Dear Readers,

I'd like to begin by thanking all of you for your undying support in every venture I undertake. The response I have received from stories like "Dear Friend", "Forever Yours", and the one that started this snowball rolling ("All Through The Night"), has been truly special. Your feedback and patronage of Backstreet MANIA as a whole is what keeps me inspired to provide you with quality fan fiction on the web; not just my own attempts, but those of the hosted authors as well. I take genuine pleasure in seeking out new talent for you all to enjoy, and that would not be possible without all of your encouragement. Thank you.

This particular piece is a different twist for me, something far more difficult (on a personal level), than I have ever written before. I hope you all enjoy "Cry Ophelia" as much as I have enjoyed challenging myself by writing it. I would appreciate any comments, critisisms, or kind words you could send my way.

There are several people who have been instrumental in giving me the courage to write this story. First and foremost is the wonderful and generous friendship of Kim Ann, a hosted author and Howie Harem Head Hootchie. (Whew! That title was a mouthful!) Kim Ann has been there for me from the beginning, ever since "Way Back to My Heart" came to rest upon the MANIA shelves. I have genuinely enjoyed working with her to post her stories. Kim Ann, thank you for everything you have done; I owe you a debt of gratitude for the courage you have instilled in me.

To Anna, who listened to the draft after draft of this everconstant work in progress; and to Dylana who lit a fire under my 'you know what', telling me to get off my duff and write what I know.
