Claire's first official lesson was at the age of five at Bentley Stables in Suffolk, England. Since then, she has worked in numerous aspects of the business, ranging from training retired racehorses to producing national champion Norwegian Fjords. She has been active on the Arabian breed show circuit since 1996 and has been successful in most major disciplines including; Hunter, Western, English (Saddle Seat), Show Hack, Halter, Native Costume and English Side Saddle.
Claire's favorite aspect of training is working with children and young adults, where she believes riding and showing become much more than a hobby.
"Not only am I teaching kids to ride and train their own horses, but I am teaching them confidence, respect, integrity and perseverance. These are all qualities that will help them in every aspect of life. I am a role model and mentor to my client's children and that is a position in life that I take very seriously."
Claire's talents don't stop in the show pen.
