Prices on "For Sale" rabbits can vary greatly, always depending on quality. Following is a general idea of what we ask - some animals may be more or less
than what is written for their category
Pet Quality - $20 to $45 (may be tattooed for identification, no pedigree)
Brood Quality - $35 to $55 (tattooed and pedigreed)
Show Quality - $50 and higher(tattooed and pedigreed)
Young JR's will not be sold before the age of 8wks old generally. L & L's may terminate a sale at any time at our discretion, with deposits or full amounts
paid being refunded, dependant on circumstances.
Enquiries are welcome on "Pending" and "Hold" animals, as their sales may fall through, and come available after all!
Animals that are on hold, are animals that have been asked for by another person. Pending animals have had a deposit placed on them, deposits are generally
50% of the priced asked. "Sold" animals have been fully paid for, but have not left L & L's Warren. Non-refundable deposits are required to be given to
L & L's, within a reasonable amount of time - one week or so. Please be considerate in arranging payment/pick-up of your rabbits, as there may be a need
for that cage space :)
Payment methods acceptable - Cash, Email Money Transfer
Boarding fees may be charged at L & L's discretion. Animals can be delivered depending on what area they need to go, fees may be applicable.
Stock shown as for sale, are generally fully pedigreed, (with sometimes more than standard numbers of generations) and are purebred. All rabbits that are
not fully pedigreed, or purebred will be stated as such.
Any rabbits for sale as brood that carry or have the potential to carry the steel gene will be stated so, underneath the photo of the rabbit. Please feel
free to email me, to ask colour genetics questions that pertain to my herd, if you are looking to add one of these rabbits to your breeding program.
If there are any particular colours (even breeds) you may be looking for, that don't appear to be available don't hesitate to ask - I may be able to breed
for it, or may know of another breeder who has it!

These are L & L's terms of shipping *in general*, some exceptions may be made at our discretion.
Purchases of a trio or more are elligible for shipping. Shipments will depart from the Saskatoon Airport using WestJet. Air Canada is likely also available,
but at this time information about using Air Canada has not been found out.
Carriers for the rabbits to be shipped in, must be airline approved, and need to arrive at L&L's Warren 1 week prior to shipping. A great informational page
on airline approved carriers can be viewed here. This page is used with the
permission of Sherri Evans of Creator's Critters. Sherri has dealt with Grandview, and recommends them
highly. She took the time to create this page to show what an airline approved carrier looks like, and point out the important requirements, and nifty
things about the carriers at Grandview! Thanks for sharing Sherri!
Any feed and watering cups must be sent with carriers. Rabbits will not be shipped under 8wks of age as well, also at our discretion of the condition
rabbit may be in. (ill rabbits will not be sold or shipped). Flight times available are to be discussed at point of sale, all efforts will be made to
accomodate buyers though Thursdays are the most preferable.
As soon as rabbits are left at the cargo facility for WestJet, they will not be considered our responsibility, and it is understood that every effort is
made by their staff to ensure the safe shipment and welfare of your rabbits. It is the buyers responsibility to arrange the pick up of rabbits when they have
landed. Any illness found in the rabbits shipped due to stress will not be L&L's responsibility, as it is understood that flying rabbits may cause
stress/illness and this is the buyer's "gamble" when shipping live animals.
There is a $25 fee for transporting rabbits to the Saskatoon Airport, which may be waived at L & L's discretion (if the trip coincides with errands needing
to be done in Saskatoon already). This fee covers our cost of gas to drive to Saskatoon and back.
Please note, that some Westjet Cargo offices (independant of WestJet) charge an "after hours" fee, if drop off times/flight times do not coincide with the
cargo office's regular hours. These fees are charged for staff members to be booked to care for your rabbits during times that the office does not normally
have staff working.
Flights are booked 24hrs in advance, but may be cancelled 2hrs before the flight (drop off time for flight is 2hrs previous to departure). L & L's reserves
the right to cancel a flight, if there are unpredicted circumstances.
L & L's is open to combine shipments to multiple breeders in an area, and is willing to combine a purchase of a trio from L & L's with another breeder in
our area, provided those breeders approve.

All animals are sold free of known illness, if the buyer wishes the animal may be taken to the vet at the buyer's cost. Genetic faults such as bad teeth,
or split penis will only be sold as pets - L & L's is available to clip teeth if there is any maloclusion at no cost, though we will not travel to do this.
A young rabbit's sex is checked several times before they leave our rabbitry, and if we are unsure, it will be stated. It is not always easy to be sure a
young buck does not have a split penis (this is not overly common) - in the event we have unknowingly sold you a buck with a split penis your money will be
refunded when the rabbit is returned, or sufficient proof provided (pictures). No breeder enjoys buying a buck with a split penis, or a doe that is in fact
a buck with a split penis, it has happened to all breeders we're sure. No breeder sells a buck with a split penis intentionally, we believe... or hope :)
When buying a rabbit from L & L's, please specify if you are looking for a rabbit with no DQ's (Disqualification from competition). Generally, a rabbit is
checked for DQ's prior to being sold, though specifying to us lets us know that we need to be very careful when assessing an animal for you. This said, when
the rabbit is sold to you it has no known DQ's, and we advise that as soon as you recieve your animal from us, that you check it over yourself for anything
that may have been missed by us. This way, any possible issues may be dealt with promplty, as we will not be held responsible after sending the rabbit to
you months ago. We also appreciate knowing if you may have found a DQ that may be genetic, as we can then explore the lines we use in our herd for carriers
of the DQ.
In the event that a rabbit we've sold dies, please let us know. In cases where we are at fault, the buyer's money will be refunded, or the animal may be
replaced if another rabbit of the same quality/price is available. We believe that in cases where enteritis is involved, the most likely cause is stress.
If within 3 days of your rabbit leaving us, your rabbit begins to suffer fatal enteritis, we will refund half of the full amount paid. If your rabbit
begins to suffer enteritis after 3 days of leaving us, we will not refund or replace. To understand why, please read our Rabbit Care Section above in
particular about the environment in which your rabbit is housed, and what it is fed.
We are not responsible for the death of your rabbit, if it dies after leaving us due to injury, illness beginning after 3 days, or improper feeding causing
enteritis, or from an attack from another animal. When your rabbit is purchased from us, it is assumed that you have read these entries, and agree to them.
If however, your rabbit dies of unforeseen causes (some illness/disease) part or all of the amount paid for the rabbit may be refunded with sufficient proof,
at our discretion.
If you are at all worried about your rabbit's health after recieving him/her, please call us to advise us as we may have suggestions to help you treat him or
her. If you choose not to follow our suggestions, we will not be responsible. We are not liable for veterinary charges under any circumstance. To
understand why, please read our rabbit health section. This said, we are not ourselves veterinarians, and any advice you use that is given by us is at your
own discretion! Our advice is given through experience we have gained ourselves, or other breeders we are in close contact with.
More in this section to come!
