This is the site for Long Island volleyball information. When I started this site, two years ago, there wasn't much on the internet about volleyball on Long Island. I found sites for two New York City leagues, find links listed below, but I did not have any success finding information about places to play on the Island. So... I started this site for Long Island volleyball. With plenty of help from local players this site has lots of good information.

In September of 2000 I moved back to Texas. I am looking for a Long Island Volleyball enthusiast to take over this site. E-mail me if you are interested.
The first place I played indoors on Long Island was at the PAL Gym in Westbury. The guy that runs the leagues there asked me not to list him on this website when I put it up. This year he expanded the league and is now willing to take more teams and players. Check out Gretchyn's Volleyball Inc. on the leagues link.

The Glen Cove Volleyball League has recently resurfaced their gym floor. They usually have an open play night once a week. Check out their open play night and get on or put together a team for next season. Follow their link for directions and a contact name.
The Long Island Volleyball Association runs Beach Leagues on lighted courts at Jones Beach in the summer.
