Information about our students and employers

The North Dakota State College of Science operates a Placement Office for those students who are seeking employment, that have completed the necessary requirments for graduation (or are near completion) and would like assistance in thier job search. Qualified students who wish to be active candidates for employment must provide the office with the necessary personal data for thier resume and grant the office permission to compile their records. After this is done by the student the placement office will submit the documentation to employers in which the student is interested.

What can this documentation include, you may ask. Basically, it is up to you, the student, to decide what is in your file - but some things that may be included are:

  • A resume or personal data sheet
  • An official college transcript
  • Your department evaluation
  • Personal evaluation(s)
  • Other pertainent information

Alumni of the college are also able to access the Placement Office for assistance. A graduate of the Architectural Drafting Department (or any other department) can gain assistance by contacting the office by phone, (701)671-2258, or by email, ndscs-placement@plains.nodak.edu. After a short questionaire is filled out job openings can be sent to the graduate.
