[24th march '02] i was cliff jumping (again) today, and i decided to go a bit crazy and throw in a rotation. i pulled off a clean 540!!! excellent. there were my mtes and a few guys a year ir si older. this one older guy wanted to see me spin again before he tried it. so i said ok.
i ran and jumped off the near 15 meter cliff (into a 10 foot deep river!!) and spun out a massive 720 degree roatation, it was very fast.
problem was, on leap off, i leaned foward a bit, and that angle along with the huge spin, caused me to land the WORST belly whacker/ face plant EVER in my life, or for the matter, that id ever seen. i couldnt breathe at all for half a minute. BUT when i managd to get that first breath of O2 into me, i knew i was good. of course on my second breath i screamed out "720!!!!".
it was something i wish i had on camera, but never want to do again. it hurts when i breathe now, and this is 4 hours later. oww.
