Bibase was formed 10 years ago by two programmers / network engineers on a part time basis to provide cost effective specialist software and still operates the same way today. It is primarily a software development unit with several products sold direct. The customer benefits from a quite advanced product at a competitive price. The proprietary database design with inbuilt diagnostics to reduce service calls permits a focus to be on further development.
The company has been providing the DVD industry with PC rental software for over 10 years. The most recent release, 4POSRENTAL for Windows 2000 / XP incorporates advanced features like member image and custom C++ Unicode database technology.
Linux software development includes Xcontractbridge, a simulation and 4Webcheck website monitoring software for the Windows platform.
Products
We offer three products for rental businesses. In addition to 4POSRENTAL our entry level program, Winrental, provides all the features you need to run your store, a robust and proven solution. Multi terminal
functionality is provided by our Winrental SC Server product. Based on the server-client paradigm using Microsoft RPC technology it permits straightforward network deployment.
4POS Retail is our well reviewed product for point of sale for managing inventory and sales. It is suitable for a diverse range of businesses from restaurants to clothes retailing.

Over 2000 sites worldwide (approximately 1000 USA and Canada, 500 Europe and 500 in other territories) use these solutions with more than half our sales
resulting from recommendations by existing users. The user base includes libraries from small combined shops to companies with over 20 server based
