Benedict Eiselman
(b. bef. 1716, Germany)

Benedict Eiselman arrived at the port of Philadelphia on September 11, 1732 aboard the vessel "Pennsylvania Merchant", John Stedman, Commander. The ship sailed from the port of Rotterdam, Netherlands. On the "Captains List" his name is listed as Benedick Eselman. On the list of "The signers of the Oath of Allegiance to England" his name is listed as Benedict Eiselman. Since he was listed with the men on the "Captains List" he would have been at least 16 years of age or older. For this reason it can reasonably be assumed that Benedict was born in 1716 or before.
