This is the original immigrant family for this line of Eisenmans. After Andreas died in 1825, John William Eisenman emigrated to the U.S. in 1827 and settled in Karthaus Township, Clearfield Co., Pa. Two years later, in 1829, his mother, Johannah and the rest of the family followed him.
