Week 8 Scores

American Looney 156
Yukon Jacks 85

The Loons beat the Jacks this week on a nicely-
balanced attack. The Titans defense led all
scorers with 35 points. The Loons also got 29
from Wayne Chrebet, 25 from Peter Warrick, and
23 more from QB Jeff Blake. The Jacks were led
by the Washington defense who had 32 points.
They also got 21 from Charlie Garner. The Loons
are now 3-5; the Jacks slide to 2-6.

Meek Boys 230
Pigskin Pipsqueaks 109

Ow. And that's only the first of the 200-point
scores for the week. Peyton Manning had 53;
Marvin Harrison had 50; Lamar Smith had 41; Eric
Moulds had 25; and the Buccaneers defense had 21.
The Pips were led by Elvis Grbac with 38 points,
and the Miami defense kicked in 22 more. The
Meeks move to 7-1, and the Pips fall to 5-3.

West Texas Mustangs 160
Butchers 115

The Mustangs beat the Butchers by 45. Albert
Connell led all scorers for the Mustangs with 60
points. QB Doug Flutie pitched in another 41 for
good measure. Brian Griese led the Butchers with
48 points. The Mustangs move up to 3-5, and the
Butchers slip to 2-6.

Outlanders 162
McKamikaze Highlanders 100

Warner's injury notwithstanding, not even
Testaverde's incredible night last night combined
with the Lions' defense would've stopped the
Outlanders from getting the win. The Outlanders
were led by Daunte Culpepper with 46 points. His
supporting cast included Isaac Bruce with 32 points,
Derrick Alexander with 22, and Martin Gramatica with
21. Kurt Warner led the Highlanders with 23 points.
The Outlanders improve to 5-3, and the Highlanders
fall to 6-2.

Missouri Manglers 167
Bemee Gizzards 127

The Manglers beat the Gizzards this week by 30. Jeff
Garcia led all scorers with 42 points. He got help
from James Stewart with 35 and Tyrone Wheatley, who
had 34. The Gizzards were co-led by Stephen Davis and
Edgerrin James, each of whom had 26 points. Jake
Plummer chipped in 21 more. The Manglers move up to
5-3, and the Gizzards slide back to .500 at 4-4.

Dawgs 222
Mark's Mules 110

Here's the other 200-point game. The Dawgs were led
by Corey Dillon with 62 points. Ricky Williams had
another 45 for them. Donovan McNabb had 28, Cris
Carter had 26, and Randy Moss had 22 more. The Mules
were led by Rich Gannon with 34 points and Tim
Biakabatuka with 26. The Dawgs move up to 4-4, and
the Mules drop to 2-6.
