Event Details

This year the following options are available to interested persons wishing to attend the Conference. Please note that due to Victorian venues being swamped by overflow from the ACT and NSW (as a direct result of the bushfires), it was difficult to locate a suitable venue, but we have now secured what we believe is a fantastic venue. There is very comfortable accommodation at the venue, but unfortunately we are unable to offer a camping option on site. We are able to offer a strictly limited number of placements for a weekend with full catering only, and will provide information relating to accommodation sites located at close proximity to the venue. Accommodation on site is dormitory style, as many of you would have experienced from past conferences (maximum 8 per dormitory). To stress the limited capacity of this AWC, numbers are restricted to 148 persons full board and 12 persons fully catered - 160 in total.

Don't forget that stalls will be running on the Sunday morning, so bring some cash, as eftpos or similar facilities will not be available.

Fees and Cancellations

Fees:

Option 1

- 2 nights full board $165.00 per person (adult)

- 2 nights full board $145.00 (Child under 16)

Breast/Bottle fed babies - utilising own portocot are free of charge

Breast/Bottle fed babies -utilising the venue's cots $11.00

All linen is provided, and the venue provides both BYO and bar facilities. Bar prices are comparable to Victorian country pub prices. There are also spas available, so don't forget to bring a beach towel!

Option 2

Fully catered weekend (Friday night through to Sunday lunch) *all meals, am/pm teas* inclusive of entry into all workshops, participation in the Spring Equinox ritual, market and moot. **No accommodation at venue site, off-site arrangements are your responsibility**

$105.00 per person

NOTE: Because the venue is located in Victoria's Alpine region, temperatures at night can drop as low as -5 degrees centigrade (-10 is not unheard of) during September. It is strongly advised, if taking Option 2, that suitable accommodation choices be made. Cabin and caravan accommodation is available off-site, be sure to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

This should also be a consideration for all those planning to attend, particularly people with young children and babies. Although the venue itself is well heated, sensible clothing and some forward planning is advisable. So grab yer thermals, folks!
