Azala
Leader of the Reptites
Azala was the leader of the Reptites in the distant past of 65,000,000 B.C. He united the reptites under one clan and led them to strike out at the humans that populated the lands. They had almost succeeded, bringing the humans down to two villages, Laruba and Ioka. The villagers of Laruba were always running and hiding from the reptites, while the Iokan villagers, led by Ayla, fought against the reptites against all odds. Azala had almost destroyed them, until Crono and his friends popped through a time-gate. After foiling him in his small hold of Reptite's Lair, Azala goes to the Tyrano Lair, where he tames the beast, the Black Tyrano. He plans on using the tyrano to hunt down the remaining humans, but is foiled as Lavos falls and crushes him, the Black Tyrano, and the Tyrano Lair.
