THE WNBA: WINNING NEW BASKETBALL ADDICTS!!!

I have never been a real fan of the NBA. I cheer on the Bulls and the Bears because Chicago is my hometown. Yet, my favorite sports have always been swimming and track. I have always enjoyed these sports because they were the ones I excelled in personally.

The WNBA has peaked my interest in basketball. Suddenly, I am watching mature and humane athletes that I can respect and relate to personally and politically. Increasingly, I am tuning in and truly enjoying these games.

Poverty is a weapon of war wielded by racist capitalists. The wealthiest African Americans are professional athletes. It is refreshing to know that, someday, women may garner the fortunes that NBA players have squandered for decades. I expect that fewer African WNBA players will share their wealth with white spouses. I also expect that more of these sisters will share their wealth with Black America.

Suddenly, a whole new world of dreams has opened to young women globally. The WNBA has created new arenas of careers to which all young girls will aspire. Now mothers and fathers will spend the same quality time coaching daughters as they do sons.

Many sexists dare to claim that boys’ athletic programs will suffer if girls begin to share sports program budgets in academia. They would prefer that girls receive nothing so that boys can continue to enjoy everything. To their chagrin, it is a new day in America. Sharing is no longer optional, it is obligatory. It is no longer a decision. It is a demand.

Now African female beauty will be as revered and celebrated as African male beauty. Many WNBA players are gifted and gorgeous. It is thrilling to witness their special feminine prowess which enhances their athletic performance. Even their promos sparkle with that magic womanly touch.

The WNBA is beauty, brains, brawn, passion, power, and pizzazz. Basketball has been forever elevated by a collective woman’s touch. Next up: WNFL?
