Hypocrisy is ugly. If such ugliness were biological warfare, Ward Connerly would be Ebola. He is a campus regent and capitalist entrepreneur who shamelessly enjoys being the national poster boy for black neocons against affirmative action. Moreover, he enjoyed spending millions he received in profits as a "minority" contractor, rewarded by the very same affirmative action programs he dares to eradicate. Like all of his colorized "angry white male" peers, he got his; so he is closing the doors to all future contenders.
Similarly, Ward is now exposed as the kind of employer that makes welfare MANDATORY. He is being sued by Donna Ransom. A former employee who filed suit against him in 1994, after being horribly abused at Connerly & Associates.
As neocons dare to claim that "lazy welfare loafers refuse to work...", Ransom details how her work ethic and energy were destroyed by Ward. In a nineteen page complaint, records document the following:
Ward worked her into sickness and exhaustion while refusing to pay her any overtime.
Ward paid higher salaries to male and female employees he "pressured to be his sexual consorts".
Ward refused her request for a raise by bribing her with an $8000.00 loan to pay for a babysitter and a car.
Ward fought to deny her unemployment benefits. (Fortunately, his ruthless victory was reversed by a fairer judge on appeal.)
Ward has dared to sue her for repayment of the $8000.00 loan PLUS $3000.00 interest!
Ward is beyond evil!! Clearly, he is insane. Proof of his insanity was evidenced when he began trying to abolish VOLUNTARY ethnic graduation ceremonies at U.C. Berkeley. Such ceremonies are generally unattended by welfare loafers.
