Cosmos
Hi, I'm Cosmos!
I live in southern California, and am currently a student at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
I've been a Girl Scout for over eleven years, and have been to camp for most of those eleven. I've been to Camp Scherman, Camp Tecuya, Camp Lakota, Camp Rancho del Chaparrel, Camp Mountain Meadows, Camp Azalea Trails, and Camp Tautona. Last summer, I was a counselor at Tautona, and the summer before that, I was an apprentice at Azalea Trails. (if you've been to any of these camps, and want to exchange stories, e-mail me!)
You're probably wondering why I go by the name Cosmos. Well, one of my favorite traditions of Girl Scout camp is that each of the counselors goes by a "Camp Name". When I became a Counselor in Training, I too had to choose a name. After much deliberation, I chose Cosmos - both after the stars (I love stargazing!), and after the cosmos flower, which is my favorite flower.
This songbook began over four years ago as a handwritten collection of songs, before growing into the web-based version you see now. And neither are done! I've got a list of songs which I need to transcribe and/or get the words to, and I'm always on the lookout for new songs!

I don't currently have any pictures of myself on the web, but if you're interested in seeing the bear cub who visited camp last summer, I do have two pictures of it. (warning - they're really big pictures, so they'll take a while to load)
What's New!: I'm now a GeoCities Community Leader! (which means I'm a member of the group of volunteers who help GeoCitizens with their web sites, and with other problems they may encounter). If you want more information on the program, or have any problems, let me know!
