The Lyke Wake Club does not organise much in the way of social events; but what they do organise tends to be extremely well planned and enjoyable. Below is listed events for 2000. There is some doubt at the present time as to whether or not this years event will take place. Further information will be posted here as soon as any news is available. In the meantime if anyone has any queries please e-mail me and I will endeavour to answer your queries.
The annual Lyke Wake Race is being held on Saturday 12th July 2003; closing date for applications is 21st June and no late applications will be accepted. The event is on a handicap basis and is open to both walkers and runners alike. Entry fees are being held at £8 and entry forms are available from the club office from 1st January by sending a s.a.e.
