Welcome to Kaushik Seal's CyberPad

Currently I am employed with Anglo-Eastern Ship Management AESM (headquartered in Hong Kong), and presently located at Mumbai. My previous escapades with LRS, ARI & ABS have taken me to Delhi (Jan 1997 to June 2007) Chennai (Jan 1994 thru Oct 1994), Trichy (Oct 1994 thru Jan 1997) respectively.

My primary job function is at the AE Training Centre AEMTC which entails carrying out Risk Management related activities for all our managed vessels.

The road so far...

After having done my schooling from St. Columba's High School, New Delhi, I joined Marine Engineering College, Calcutta and graduated in 1985. Thereafter sailed the high seas with Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (headquarted at Mumbai), for a good eight years. This included a stint as a Gas Engineer on board Maersk lines as well. Having commandeered the engineering taskforce as a Chief Enginner on G.E.S.C.O.'s MV Jag Palak and Jag Ladki, in 1993 I decided to shift gears.
