Hi! Come on in and make yourself at home. WELCOME!!! I'm Glad you stopped by. I called this my bedroom. That was probably misleading. Actually this is just about me and it's NOT what you thought it was! Did I catch you blushing? Let me introduce myself. My name is Cecile. I am 40 something. I have a wonderful husband, Dave, and a beautiful daughter, Jessica who is 12.

I was born in Birmingham, Alabama. My dad was in the Army so we moved to Japan when I was 6 months old. We lived in Kentucky, Washington, Virginia, Germany, France, New York, and toured all over Europe and the United States. I feel very fortunate to have had this experience.

I graduated when I was 17 and went to work in the printing supply business. I went to college for 2 weeks and gave it up. I was young and restless and when you're like that you do some stupid things. Not going to college was my stupid thing. But, I felt there were too many things I wanted to see and do and I didn't want to take the time to go to college. I had a good job and I was one of the first women to be allowed to sell in the printing supply business. There were two of us at the time. Anyway, I worked in Alabama, Atlanta and Miami and then ended up in California. California was the best part of my life.

I lived in California for 20 years and would still be there if it wasn't for the Gulf War, Pete Wilson and the economy. I worked for about 10 years in the printing supply business and then moved from Orange County to the desert. I moved to Hesperia and then worked for Hi-Desert Kawasaki for 10 years. THAT was a fun job! I got to meet alot of the racers and I usually went to a race every weekend. My favorite was Speedway. I REALLY loved the jet skis though. I would have ridden jet skis every day if I could. I wish I could say Kawasaki's are my favorite motorcycle but I can't. Harley has been and will always be first in my heart. Ninja's run a close second though.

Then everything in California fell apart. My mother died and we moved to Alabama to take care of the house and we've been here since 1992. I went to work for the Post Office when we moved back here and worked there until June of 1997. Believe me, I know the meaning of "going postal". I can't believe people still receive mail after working there. That's why I LOVE e-mail. I have a better chance of mail arriving and every time I use it it's 32 cents they don't get. I did have some good friends there and I am thankful for them. And it was a good experience. If nothing else it taught me what I don't want in an employer. Now I have a good employer and work with really great people and I get to watch a lot of movies. What FUN!

I have had a wonderful life. I have done most of the things I wanted to do and been to most of the places I wanted to see (except Canada and Australia) and I have a husband who is wonderful and a great daughter that is too smart for her own good most of the time. Dave, my husband, was a truck driver. Now he works inside as a supervisor. I really like making homepages. It is alot of fun. Now after making one for everybody else I'm making one for ME.

Well, thanks for listening to me. This sorta turned out to be my moan and groan page and I'm sorry, but sometimes it just helps to let it out. If you made it this far, I thank you and I hope you're not asleep. If you have any comments or if you just want to let it out too, you can
to me at ccogswell@bigfoot.com but please, no yelling.
