THE PROPERTY:
Originally a flour-mill, since 1956 utilized by a government
research institute for analysis of minerals. Suitable for most light-industrial
or administrative activities, the object can be available on lease or a
joint venture basis.
THE LOCATION:
About 3 km (2 miles) from the center of the historical
city of Kutná Hora,approximately 65 km (40 miles) from Prague.The city
is well served by both rail and road transport and has all of the cultural
and social facilities found in the European cities of its size. Kutná Hora
has also its own industrial base, including TABAK - PHILIP MORRIS and ÈKD.
THE REGION INFORMATION
The property can be reached from the center of Kutná
Hora by a good paved road, suitable for heavy truck traffic; during its
industrial phase,the approximately 120 employees were transported by a
municipal bus line.
The industrial buildings and
instalations can be described as follows:
Land area 30.000 m2 (2.500
m2 protected by a fence).
Main Building:
- 4 floor with 499 m2
each.
- Structure of stone and brick with parts of cincrete,
metal roof.
- The structure, built for flour-mill machinery, will
support most industrial equipment. Light
brick dividers on each floor are removable.
- Installations include both cold and hot water, power,
gas, steam central heating,
washrooms, two stairways and an elevator.
- Own pumping facilities for industrial water, propan
gas station and a steam boiler.
Lateral Building :
- Single story an area of 215 m2,
used in the past as a garage, offices and mill laboratory.
- Installations include power, water, central heating
and drinking water plant (out of
use).
Administrative Building :
- Two floors, a basement and an attic with total area
about 250 m2, divided into 11 rooms.
- Built orriginally as housing for the owner and his
family, the area has been later
converted into offices.
- Installations include water, power, central heating
and washrooms.
Other Support Buildings :
- Several smaller building and shacks exist for storage,
parking, fire protection equipment etc.
