This is the part of my website that is about the oboe. I started playing the oboe in the 5th grade band, and began taking private lessons in 6th grade. I was able to easily read notes because of my piano playing and was familiar with woodwind instruments because of the clarinet, so I used my past experience to learn how to play the oboe.
