4. FO'CSLE ("Forecastle") The Fo'csle is the raised front part of the ship's main deck In the Fo'csle Cabin are kept the anchor winches and motors In storms, the fo'csle has to take all the force of the sea, but by being raised it can protect the rest of the ship from the full force of the waves.
