President Masias Guili was the hero of a long novel titled "Masias Guili's Downfall." Masias Guili's Downfall was written by Mr. Natsuki Ikezawa in 1993. He is a novelist in Okinawa prefecture. Formerly he was a professional translator. He was good at Greek. In fact he lived in Greece for three years from 1975 to 1978. He was born in 1945 in Hokkaido. He had studied Physics at Saitama University, Faculty of Science and Engineering. A follower of Japanese great novelist Tatsuo Hori appeared as a poet and novelist. His name is Mr. Takehiko Fukunaga. (Ah! This page is an anime column. This does not deal with Japanese literature.)
Takehiko Fukunaga was rather famous. He was born in 1918. He graduated from University of Tokyo (French Literature). He tought at Gakushu-in University, Mejiro, Tokyo. He was dead in 1979. His son also appeared as a pure literature novelist and poet. Yes, his name is Natsuki Ikezawa. He won Akutagawa Prize in 1987. As you know, then he wrote a novel "A Still Life."
As you know, Akutagawa Prize was named after Ryunosuke Akutagawa, a famous novelist in Japan. Hiroshi Kikuchi or Kan Kikuchi was the President of Bungeishunju. Bungeishunju is one of the largest publishers in Japan. Hiroshi Kikuchi was himself a popular novelist in Japan. He had a lot of novelist friends before World War II. He founded two famous literature prizes, Akutagawa prize and Naoki prize for young great novelists. Akutagawa and Sanjugo Naoki were his friends.
Bungeishunju gas given pure literature novelists Akutagawa prizes and given popular novelists Naoki prizes. These two prizes are authoritative in Japan.
Akutagawa prize novelist Natsuki Ikezawa has written many novels more than ten years. One of them was "Masias Guili's Downfall."
Masias Guili was the second President of Navidad Democratic Republic on the Southern Pacific Ocean.
It was a colony of Japan just before World War II. (Why must I write on a pure literature? Oops!) He worked for Japanese Imperial Navy under a naval officer Kazuma Ryuzouji. After World War II, Navidad became a colony of USA. Kazuma Ryuzouji worked as a black market merchant in Japan then. He employed Masias in Japan in 1947. Thereafter Ryuzouji became a Diet member and Masias came back home and worked at "Guili and Co."
"Guili and Co." was a small shop and managed by Mr. Guili. Thereafter Mr. Guili was dead. Masias was married with Guili's aged wife. He began to manage "Guili and Co." Thereafter the aged wife was dead and he was not married with any woman. His company grew up to be a Japanese-style supermarket. Then he also worked for a statesman, Cornelius. Thereafter he became the first President of Navidad Democratic Republic and Masias became Director-General of Home Affairs. After five years, Masias assumed the Presidency.
After 8 years, he lost the Presidency. Then he had wanted to found a large-scale hotel. His military police worked for him to obtain lands. Moreover Japanese capital helped him. Therefore he got less popular.
He found two assassins. He let them kill the third President who stood by USA.
He assumed the Presidency again.
On the other hand, Navidad consisted of three main islands, Gaspar, Baltasar and Melchor (Ah! These appeared on EVA).
Melchor's elders meeting was authoritative. They looked for Masias' evidence of illegality. At last they got one evidence. He decided to resign from the Presidency. He was killed by a sudden accident. "Thou will be accepted by the ground."
Formerly I read several novels written by Kenzaburou Ooe. He won Akutagawa Prize and Novel Prize (Literature). He graduated from University of Tokyo (French Literature). Natsuki Ikezawa's novels resemble ones by Takehiko Fukunaga and ones by Kenszaburou Ooe. They dealt with love and sexuality.
However Natsuki's novels are rather mild.

In 09/26/1998, a talking-show was held at Abeno Belta Animate in Osaka, an anime goods shop.
It was held for 200 her fans. I arrived at the Animate at 4:30 p.m.
The show was scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
My ticket number was 77th (Nana-nana).
77 over 200.
I thought the show would be held the next day. Then a man bought "Perfect Blue LD Boxes." I was charmed.
I came back to Esaka as soon as possible.
Of course the next day the show was not held. I could not see the show.
Who attacked me so seriously?
Lee Boo, a ghost, from Masias Guili's Downfall?
Masias Guili himself?
Takehiko Fukunaga, a ghost?
Natsuki Ikezawa in Okinawa?
Ghosts from Perfect Blue?
Or her passionate fans?
I understand the message. I will not use Athena Asamiya.
