She appeared at my doorway out of nowhere

Her whole persona surrounded by mystery

She took off her veil, and smiled at my face

It all seemed so unreal, kind of dreaming awake.

She said, I Know you've been troubled for many a lifetime

that your soul has been hungry for some explanations

well, you've got the answer to your very own questions

just hear the whisper of the angels and demons.

Are you willing to follow the way to the truth,

leave your beloved, discover new worlds ?

Then come with me and I'll show you the stars,

I can tell you the difference between evil and right

and give you the powers over death and life;

forget your inhibitions, don't be afraid to see the light.

Then I understood who she was,

lady of the future, lady of the past,

ruler of fantasies, goddess of desire,

got hold of the keys to the ancient empires,

she was Isis unveiled, queen of the night.

I went unto a dream, and she took me by the hand

led me to the edges of universe and time

saw the moons of Tannhauser, seven in line,

the birth of the planets, the dawn of mankind

the rise and the fall of kingdoms and tyrants

the root of all passions, the seed of all evil;

led me to the interior of the pyramids of Gizah,

showed me the secrets and the meaning of the Torah.

Then she took me to the table, and I saw the bread and wine

said I was the chosen, the new keeper of the light

and though I had seen the energy still something held me back

maybe it was the knowledge of a life of sacrifice;

in that moment of decision I must have lost my mind

something in my interior said I couldn't pay the price.

Isis unveiled, empress of the moon

lady of the future, lady of the past

ruler of fantasies, goddess of desire

someday you will come back and give me another chance

someday I will be ready to be in your paradise.
