Isengard is a land at the south end of the Misty Mountains. Built long ago, the tower Orthanc is the home of the white robed wizard, Saruman. The mysterious wizard has humans that live about him, preforming his tasks. The surface is pocketed with crevices and holes from which bellow smoke and steam. Underground there are twisted creatures bred by the wizard in secret for his own personal army. These creatures are known as Uruk, more commonly called orcs. Black skinned, flesh eating, cunningly intelligent, they preformed their tasks with ruthless efficiency. At odds with almost every other species in Middle Earth, the Fighting Uruk-hai are superb warriors, and stealthy scouts. Each trying to further it's own ends, but still working towards one goal, the Isendrim orcs are not an enemy to be taken lightly.

Isengard: A culture of Elendor

Elendor is MUSH. MUSH stands for Multi User Simulated Hallucination. It is a text based Role Playing (RP for short) game. You make a character of a certain species such as: Elf, dwarf, human, hobbit, and my favorite, orc, and give s/he a personality. You type what you think/do/say, and the other players respond. Everything is RPed from cooking dinner to a major battle. It's like writing a book and it really gets your creative juices flowing, not to mention you meet lots of wonderful people online.

Isengard is a culture, a group, on Elendor. It is an orc home, one of three. This culture consistantly has one of the highest activity rates on the entire MUSH. Players are dedicated, creative, and hold a high standard of role play. Rank advancement comes quickly to those active players who show that they uphold the standards of the culture. The reputation of the culture is a very good one, due to the players' hard work. Due to the secret nature of orcs in Isengard, we refer to ourselves as the Black Dragon Kingdom when travelling abroad, so as not to give away the secret. There are dozens of possible characters in four different clans. Each clan has at least one other major subgroup. If you like good RP, helpful players and admins, be creative, and want to express the orc in yourself, then Isengard is the place for you. Join the dark side of the orc.
