In this area, I will detail my efforts to create a new race suitable for use
in Star Fleet Battles.
The race is known as the Velkoth, and are geographically located to the "West"
of Hydran and Lyran space. The Velkoth has experienced contact with both
the Hydrans and the Lyrans, and consider both races to be enemies.
The Velkoth use several different levels of technology, mainly focused in their
heavy weaponry and in their defensive abilities. As many border clashes were
fought against the Hydrans, the Velkoth picked up many tendencies to protect
against the swarms of fighters inherently present in most Hydran fleets.
