Seaside Town Interactive:
History of this Website
The following is a brief history about this page.
This page used to be the "Unofficial" Super Mario RPG Home-page, and is aka. as Yaridovich's Super Mario RPG Page!", and has
gone through some pretty "nifty" changes since then- in Aug. of '98, the server
failed (not geocities related) and all the pages were wiped out, the owner of the other page decided
to leave, and they picked me (don't ask me why), Yaridovich,
to maintain it for them because the other people couldn't find the time to.
August 26, 1997:
The owners of the "Unofficial" Super Mario RPG Home-page got online and
founded this page.
November 14, 1997:
The Page Counter on the page reached 350.
November 22, 1997:
The Owner of the page (York Johnson) begins to get lazy and gets about 70
E-Mails a day from visitors complaining about things being late.
January 1, 1998:
The Owner of the page decides to follow a newyear's resolution of not being
late with thepages anymore.(which ofcourse he broke in less than a week)
January 22, 1998:
The Page Counter reaches 590.
February 7, 1998:
The Page Counter goes from about 200 visitors a day, to about 10-15 due
to the owner's lateness.
May 2, 1998:
The owner loses his job of continuing to update the page and the "Unofficial"
Super Mario RPG Home-page "Officially" goes out of business.
May 20, 1998:
The owners begin to look around for someone to take over the site
by posting ads around the net.
June 1, 1998:
I found the ads from the authorites and applied for the job.
June 4, 1998:
They E-Mailed me and informed me that I've been accepted.
June 21, 1998:
The Counter reaches 300 visitors in about 2 weeks.
October 1, 1998:
The counter passes 25,000.
January 1999:
I decided to remodel the site and include Nintendo 64 stuff as well- 80% the way through.
July 1999:
I have created a new addition to Seaside Town- The Nintendo Universe!- I decided it would be better if I created a Nintendo 64 site on a different server- check it out!!!
