Our homepage is dedicated to Kefallonia. There are many ways to spell the name of this Greek island (Cephalonia, Kefalonia etc.), so don't be confused if you see a different spelling.
This site is maintained by me,George, my wife Margarita, and our dog, Mey. We live in a suburb of Athens called Nea Makri. Mey has plenty of space to run around but she also loves to change environment so in the winter time we drive to Arahova (2 hours from Athens) where she can play with the snow.
I was born in Argostoli and lived there until I was sixteen years old. My parents live in Kefallonia and we visit them as often as we can. In our opinion, Kefallonia is a great place to visit. It combines beautiful beaches, mountainous terrain with specatcular views and offers to its visitors the option to choose the degree of relaxation or excitement they want to experience!
Kefallonia is not as well known as other Greek islands. However it is definitely worth visiting and is in our opinion an undiscovered jewel.
