MIAMI VICE VERSUS NASH BRIDGES

  • Both Sonny and Nash have been married twice.
  • Both Sonny and Nash had one kid. (Although Sonny had an unborn child killed.)
  • Both Sonny and Nash are on decent terms with thier first wives.
  • Both shows take place in a trendy coastal city.
  • Vice and SIU are specialized departments that aren't in all cities.
  • Both Sonny and Nash have a love for their sunglasses.
  • Both guys seem to fall for the wrong woman.
  • Sonny and Nash know the importance of team work. The support crews of both shows are important.
  • Both cops used a single name to refer to everyone. "Pal" for Sonny and "Bubba" for Nash.
  • Both have a soft spot for kids in trouble.
  • Both realized the importance of family after the fact.
  • Both live in very unusual places.
  • Sonny was a war hero, (this is a stretch) Nash's brother was a war hero.
  • Both Sonny and Nash played football.
  • Both had been shot on duty before the first show.
  • Both guys married thier second wives after a very short romance. Where as their first marriages lasted for a good number of years.
  • Both cops had amnesia.
  • Both shows had episode called "Payback" and "Home Invasion"
  • Both shows have a very unique look and fashion sense.
  • Both shows had the original LT leave in the first season.
