The Miss World Pageant is "the premier pageant of beauty" and the main rival to the Miss Universe Pageant. Beauty School's Department of Miss World Studies aims to provide all of our students with a sound foundation in the history and trivia of this pageant, which was begun in 1951. We know our U.S. and Canadian students in particular will appreciate our course offerings, as Miss World is rarely televised in these countries.

The Department of Miss World Studies currently offers:


Miss World Master Class - The Mysteries of the World Revealed...Professor Donald West, Chair of the Department of Miss World Studies, presents our fourth annual Miss World Master Class, on the history of Miss World, the Miss World majority vote system, and other mysteries.

Master Class on Miss World 1970...Professor Donald West, Chair of the Department of Miss World Studies, presents our third annual Miss World Master Class, on Miss World 1970, one hot-n-spicy beauty pageant!


Master Class on Miss World 1980...from our Vancouver, Canada campus, Professor Donald West, Chair of the Department of Miss World Studies, presents our second annual Miss World Master Class, on the most reluctant beauty queen in the World, Gabriella Brum.
