Taggert vs Chance

(General Hosptial's Detective Marcus Taggert and Soldier of Fortune's Jason "Chance" Walker)

Note: Soldier of Fortune, Inc. doesn't air in my local area so everything that I know about Jason "Chance" Walker will come from everything that I read about that character from internet sources. And, if Soldier of Fortune, Inc. aired in my local area I would be a viewer of this program.

Detective Marcus Taggert is your not so good cop of Port Charles. He lets his emotions cloud his judgment of right and wrong. Now don't get me wrong, Taggert isn't a dirty cop...he is just a man who wants justice in the world even if he has to stack the decks against known criminals to accomplish this mission. Taggert's main nemesis in Port Charles was a man named, Michael "Sonny" Corinthos played by actor, Maurice Bernard.

Taggert and Sonny had a lot in common...they both knew a man named, Deke who was a Brooklyn cop and was Sonny's step father and Taggert's mentor. Deke helped a young troubled kid (Taggert) and pointed him in the right direction. However, Sonny didn't see Deke the same way that Taggert did. To Sonny, Deke was an abusive man who abused him as a child. Deke told Taggert about how his step son was a trouble maker who caused problems for him and his wife. Taggert of course never believed Sonny about the "truth" about Deke and so this is the source for Taggert's anger towards Sonny. Did I forget to mention that Sonny was a known crime boss of Port Charles?

Jason "Chance" Walker is a 28 year old Army veteran from the streets of South Philly (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). Chance grew up in an extended family household. When Chance joined the army he learned everything that he could about hand-to-hand combat and he also learned about helicopters.

So, who do you choose to win this battle...Taggert or Walker? Well, I know who I choose.
