The Seaview is taking a vulcanologist (Dr. Turner) to an island with a large vulcano that is about to erupt and destroy the entire southern Hemisphere. When they get close Nelson and Turner leave the boat in the flying sub. They enter an underground cave an d with only 90 minutes left Nelson opens a cylinder that Dr. Turner brought along. In the container is a gold-skinned man Dr. Turner calls Adam. Then Dr. Turner tells Nelson that he is not there to stop the volcano from erupting, but to make it erupt even stronger..........

Professor Multiple (a puppeteer) has been entertaining the Seaview crew with puppets that look like the crew members. Before they sail, Kowalski tells Multiple that his gear has been put ashore and Crane will see him off the boat. Before Lee can do so, Nelson calls for him to come see him. When Crane gets there, the admiral says he didn't call him. He orders the ship underway, even though he has a feeling that things are not right. Nelson goes to his cabin and Multiple knocks him out and studies blueprints of the sub. One by one the Seaview crew is replaced by dolls that look like them.......

Chip Morton and another astronaut take off in a underwater launch from the Seaview, but once out in space the Seaview losees all communication and tracking with the capsule. Nelson orders Crane to get the second capsule ready for launch and as he does so, he and the capsule disappear. The new tracking system that has been installed shows that the capsule is going to Venus......

While the Seaview is on its way to deliver a neutron missile, Sharkey informs Chip that the ESCS board has a red light blinking that there is a problem in the missile room. When they investigate, they find that the silo holding the neutron missile is about to explode. Nelson and the crew look for the technicians and can't find them. Then soon all the crew disappears one by one.......

At a press conference a fakeAdmiral Nelson forces his way in and kills Dr. Ronald Mason. Dr. Mason has been working on a project to harness tides and supply the world with unlimited power. From his office Nelson watches as he (Nelson) shoots the man. Nelson and Crane make a plan for Nelson to escape and get to the Seaview. Crane is kidnapped on his way to the Seaview and a look alike holds a news conference. When Nelson gets aboard the Seaview, he hears about Crane and soon Crane escapes and boards the Seaview. On their way out of port, a Coast Guard cutter orders them to stop but they don't. Nelson and Crane soon realize that an impostor is among the crew.....

With Nelson and Sharkey on there way to visit Dr. Blanchard in the flying sub, he is killed by a huge white gorilla that he has been training. Nelson is upset to learn that his good friend was killed. Nelson decides to carry on the experiments and recaptures the gorilla and has it brought aboard the Seaview. Soon the gorilla is running around the ship, apparently attacking with out cause......

The Seaview is on a mission to find a marauder sub and its hiding place on the ocean bottom. Crane is in the flying sub searching when Kowalski informs Nelson that the sonar is picking up a sub. The sub fires on the Seaview and Nelson orders Sharkey to instruct Beach (new man) to load and prepare to fire torpedoes. Beach adjusts something on the missiles so that when they are fired they don't hit the other sub. Meanwhile Crane has located the underground sub pen but is shot down by a laser beam and the flying sub is damaged badly. As the Seaview races to reach Crane before his air runs out, Beach damages the Seaview which goes to the bottom.......

Nelson and the Seaview have gone to an island to search for a botanist who radioed for help. Nelson, Sharkey and a armed crewman row to the island and search. They find the botanist, and just before he dies, he tells them about alien invaders that will destroy the everyone in eight hours. The group splits up and search the island for anything strange and as the crewman finds the plants the botanist was working on it aims and fires an electrical current that hits him in the neck......

The Seaview is on a high-speed run when the ship shudders strangely. The time pieces on the ship are going backwards and when Nelson and Crane go outside to have a look it is dark. They note that this is due to a total eclipse which Crane states isn't due yet for years. Nelson goes to his cabin and when Crane goes there to discuss the situation with the admiral, Sharkey delivers the pictures that Nelson had taken moments earlier. Nelson tells Crane this is proof that they are now in the past.......

As the Seaview is on its way to meet up with the 11th fleet, Chip calls and states that they may need to return to base for repairs. There is a leak of missile fuel that could cause an explosion any time. Nelson decides to make repairs himself and enters the room with his tools and a emergency breathing kit. He must use the breathing kit while he makes the repairs and just as he finishes there is an explosion. He is pulled out of the room and taken to sick bay. Just as DOC is about to give him a tranquilizer, he jumps up and knocks DOC out. He goes to the control room but he is acting like a different person........

The Seaview is underwater when it is hit by turbulence and a second blast sends it to the bottom. The ship is badly damaged. Nelson sends Crane, Kowalski and Sharkey out to try to discover what is causing the turbulence. While they are out in the flying sub, they are hit by the same turbulence and the sub goes to the bottom. While they are fixing the sub, Kowalski goes outside to do some repairs and he is taken prisoner by some strange amphibians.......

While the Seaview is on assignment guarding the yacht of a visiting Shah, Kowalski picks up strange sounds and reports them to Admiral Nelson. The Seaview is attacked by a mound on the ocean bottom and Crane orders a torpedo fired but it is stopped by a force field and turned around and heads for the Seaview. It misses, barely. The Seaview destroys the missile and just then the crew is frozen in place. Blackbeard (a pirate) appears and checks out the sub and crew. As he leaves the crew is awakened everything resumes as though nothing has happened......

The Seaview is checking a nuclear complex x-17 for radiation leaks. When they arrive, Nelson orders some divers to inspect it. An accident explodes one of the warheads and while they are looking for the lost divers, Crane and Patterson go out in the Flying sub. Crane and Patterson find no problems at the installation but the radiation level is still rising. Nelson gives them directions on how to lower the radiation from the Flying sub, but they are hit by an explosion and knocked out and the sub goes to the bottom. During one of the following explosions, Sharkey is knocked out and when he comes to he sees a friendly Leprechaun named Patrick.....

The Seaview is racing to an area where a UFO is supposed to be landing. The UFO hits the sub which causes the Seaview to go to the bottom. The ship is not badly damaged so the crew bring aboard the UFO and put it in the Missile room. They try to open it but they can't so they leave posting Patterson to watch over it. A short time later, the capsule opens and the Lobster man attacks him, knocking him unconscious. The alarm is sounded and the crew starts searching for an alien.......

Crane is testing a new system in the Flying sub when he gets an urgent call from Admiral Nelson. Crane returns to the Seaview but finds no one aboard. He hears voices but can see no one. He tries to climb the steps to go to the upper deck but he is knocked unconscious by a forcefield. When he awakens he looks around and yells out and a man in the shadows answers him. He catches the man and asks what he is doing there. The man and he fight and the man runs away with Crane chasing him. As Crane searches through the ship, he hears voices but still sees no one.......

The Seaview and John Hendrix of Allied Intelligence is searching the sea for some unknown threat. Kowalski reports a contact & moments later the Seaview is hit by an electrical bolt and the sub goes to the ocean bottom. As Nelson and Hendrix go to Nelsons cabin for new orders, repairs are made on the Seaview and it is able to get back to the surface. Nelson and Sharkey take the diving bell down to search and they get back to the sub just before the monster below grabs them. They take out the flying sub to search for the sea lab and just as Sharkey sees the domed shape the flying sub is struck and goes to the bottom.....

When the bell is brought back up, he remembers nothing of being out and goes about business as usual. In the control room, he notices hair on his hands and later hair on his face. He is told by Dr. Braddock that it is temporary and will go away. He returns to his cabin and turns into a hairy beast......

Crane and Kowalski return to the Seaview in the flying sub and are told of a heat problem on board. They have been out checking out jungle growth that has overrun a small town. Nelson has Chief Sharkey check on the new man (Keeler) in charge of the reactor to find out why the sub is so hot. After he leaves, Keeler opens a container that has miniature jungle growth and three alien fighting soldiers. He transforms them into life size men and they start their plan to take over the earth.......

While the Seaview is sailing near the polar ice cap it is nearly hit by falling chunks of ice. The ship is forced to surface and while they are repairing the ship, the temperature rises. Crane looks through the periscope and sees fire surrounding the ship. Shortly the fire disappears. The outside temperature drops and Nelson and Sharkey leave the sub to investigate a tunnel near the sub. Meanwhile Patterson and Kowalski are outside the ship making repairs when Kowalski sees two frost men then he slips on the deck and is knocked unconscious. Meanwhile Nelson and Crane have run into two frost men and Sharkey shoots one and it attacks him and melts when he touches it. Nelson comes and more frost men come and Nelson and Sharkey are captured......

While Nelson and Kowalski are searching for a flying saucer that has destroyed a fleet of ships, they follow a signal and they are engulfed in a wall of fire and fall unconscious. When they wake up they are in a small black room and are confronted by an alien who talks to them then makes them disappear. Meanwhile the Seaview is damaged by the same wall of fire but surfaces before it is destroyed. They are making repairs when Sharkey finds an alien on board who says he is friendly and wants to help them fight the aliens who are going to destroy the world......

A second Crane gets out of Cranes body and goes to the Admirals cabin and kills him....

The Seaview is destroyed and all hands lost. In Admiral Nelsons office a box is delivered. In the box is Mr. Pem who wants Nelsons help to build another time device. Nelson is about to throw him out when he changes his mind. The deal is struck that Mr. Pem will take him back in time to before the Seaview is destroyed. Soon Mr. Pem and Nelson are aboard the Seaview and the crew is very surprised to see them. Nelson has the crew search the sub for anything that might lead to the destruction of the Seaview. While they are doing this, Mr. Pem is in the ships lab making a different time device......
