Interesting facts about the Beatles

Did you know that Decca Records signed a contract with Brian Poole and the Tremeloes, instead of the Beatles? Bet Decca felt pretty cheezy when the Beatles became a #1 hit group and the Tremeloes didn't!!

The first break up of the Beatles was during the White Album sessions. Ringo felt he wasn't playing very well...as he put is so eloquently "I felt like I was playing like sh*t. And those three were really getting on. I had this feeling that nobody loved me; I felt horrible. So I said to myself 'What am I doing here? Those three are getting along so well, and I am not even playing well.' ...That was the madness, so I went on a holiday to sort things out. I don't know, maybe I was just paranoid. You know that to play in a band you have to trust each other." A few days later he came back and found his drums bedecked with flowers!!

Here's some dirt on Paul McCartney.Did you Know that Paul was arrested in Hamburg Germany for arson? He lit a condom on fire and the flame blackened the wall of a building. BOY! Paul sure is HOT! Here's another fiery story from Paul's past. It seems that when Paul was 15, he went on a hitch hiking holiday with John & George. While standing beside the road thumbing a ride they were picked up by a huge lorry. Of course John and George pushed ahead and Paul ended up sitting on part of the engine which was in the cab. A few miles down the road Paul noticed it was getting very hot. The others picked on him about having a rash. About 10 minutes later he mentioned it again. Paul glanced down to find his trousers on fire!! He started to strip while the others made comments about him going around stark naked to cool off. Paul told them he was on fire, and in seconds they had the trousers off of him and the fire put out!! It seems that Paul was sitting on the battery, which had a short in it and caught his jeans on fire. (I don't know how true this story is...it was retrieved from an old magazine called _All About The Beatles_ published by YOPU Press, Inc. in 1964)
