The band is formed quite by chance in a hot June day of 1995 in Sofia, the capital of a small country in Southeast Europe. Yes, we are talking about Bulgaria, and the forming members of this story are Vassil Katintcharov and Tzvetan Pejtchev. They both have roamed the studios of their home city along other bands (friends of theirs) and gathered a remarkable experience, so at the end they decide that they can make much better music. The roles are cast equally and together they took over the heavy burden of composing their first song, which has the aim to attract the attention of the local Studio X so that the sponsorship of the recording of an eventual album can be assured. The track is named JUST ANOTHER RIP-OFF and proved to be their first hit. In no time the debut album "Suffer H" - a collection of 14 cuts - is recorded in November 1995. In March 1996 the band put together their second album "Factors of chaos" (it must be written together due to sniffing too much glue). The technology of composition is known to many musicians world-wide, but at that time it is tried out in Bulgaria for the very first time- the music is created prima vista in the studio with the right samples previously chosen. Rehearsals are made only for the vocal recording sessions. Almost all sounds are played live but by other musicians and bands. Suffer H smoothly take given moments and correct the frequency and effects with the help of computers. Only a few bass-parts are played live.
The first live show of Suffer H is with the track JUST ANOTHER RIP-OFF in the National Palace of Culture as a part of the concert "Rap Against Drugs". Some time later the gig is released on cassettes and it is Suffer H that have amongst many others, mostly attracted the attention. 15-20 gigs throughout the country follow soon and on the "Monsters of Bulgarian Rap - 2" show the band is welcomed with utter warmth and emotions. There they play 3 songs of their second album and the cover of HELMET and HOUSE OF PAIN's - JUST ANOTHER VICTIM.
Both heads of Suffer H have previously been members of other Sofia-based bands - e.g. the wave formation ILLUSION, ABRAZURA - thrash, DIETY - death metal, THE OTHERS - rap, CRASH TEST - industrial and at that time they have been inspired by many and controversial bands and musicians like ONYX, CANNIBAL CORPSE, MADONNA, STEVE VAI, SNAP, FEAR FACTORY, BRUTAL TRUTH, PUBLIC ENEMY, TERMINATOR X, DEATH and more. Thus they have gained a remarkable joint result - the rhythms and speeches from rap, the sound from the industrial, the technology of recording - from the electronic styles and the aggression - from death metal. Therefore the wide public and the specialised critic have given Suffer H the name "multicultural phenomena, in which different and colourful musical tendencies are mixed together", "one of the very few bands in Bulgaria to have the sound of the 90's", "the best Bulgarian crossover, and to top it all - in a hardcore version"!!!
You are maybe surprised by the strong and praising words for a formation that comes from a almost unknown a few years ago country. Nevertheless, do bear in mind that we have talked about the past, and now Suffer H are here and claim themselves to be the most serious factor of the modern music in Bulgaria. So we cannot just shut our ears and treat the band as an exotic phenomena with a regional importance. This is a band that makes an impression in the rich musical life of Europe, which, sadly, becomes more and more boring and grey. SUFFER H bring in a fresh atmosphere, a new flow. Their strongest weapon for persuasion is the blasting third album MACHINES - music that you have never expected to hear from the Balkans. With time, the line-up has grown to a threesome - with the join of Peter Samnaliev, but what is more important is that this album will show you why in fact these three people have taken their name from the famous FEAR FACTORY track - here are 16 very aggressive cuts, with catchy rhythm and no rap, not at all. It's heavy atmosphere - the smell of machines, crushing industrial sound.

Despite the fact that the band exist for just
an year and a half, SUFFER H (with one album beyond their back) are amongst
the leaders in the Bulgarian modern alternative music.
They are true idols for the fans, known not only
