Above is the layers palette. This controls the different sections of your
image.You can have many layers on top of each other.
This is the tool specification window. This is where
you choose the specifications of the tool that you are using at that time. This allows you
to change brush size and other options.
To the left is the Photoshop color
palette. There are three different ways to select colors. The Picker The Swatches And the
Scratch. The Picker allows you to choose your own color (from scratch), the swatches has
colors already choosen, and the Scratch allows you to choose from thousands of colors.
