This program is intended to work with archives in DOS, WIN3.1, WIN95 environments(viewing, testing, unpacking). LGAVIEW reads the contents of archive faster than any known to author analogues and archivers themselves.Since v4.00 LGAVIEW contains a built-in unpacking routines and completely does not require parent programs for extraction or viewing.
Currently LGAVIEW built-in extraction supports the following methods:

• ACE (currently without password)
• ARC (methods 2,3,4,8,9, password supported)
• ARJ (all methods, password supported)
• ARX (methods -lh0-,-lh1-)
• BSA (methods 0,2,3,7)
• BSN (methods 0,7)
• HA, LGHA (both methods)
• LARC (methods -lz4-,-lz5-)
• LZH (methods -lh0-,-lh1-,-lh4-,-lh5-,-lh6-)
• QFC
• SQZ (all methods)
• RAR (v1.00-2.04, password supported)
• ZIP (Inflate, Shrink, Implode, password supported)
• ZOO (all methods)

Exceptions:

• All other archivers
• ZIP (Reduce), LZH (-lzs-,-lh2-,-lh4-), BSA (1,4-6), BSN (9), ARC (0,1,5-7)
• ACE archives with the password
