- Produced: Italy circa 1960.
- Obtained: bought at a flea market for 150FF (~$30) in
1992.
- Features:
- 1 speaker.
- ferrite antenna built-in.
- can receive CCIR tv sound (lower vhf band only).
- 1 phono input.
- Bands:
- FM 87.5 to 100 Mhz
- TV 50 to 70 Mhz
- MW 530 to 1650 Khz (180 to 550 m)
- Condition:
- Had worked a few hours until the output tube
failed.
- Cabinet not in good shape.
- Dial is broken but should be fixed soon.
- Tubes:
- ECC85/6AQ8 (FM osc+mix)
- ECH81/6AJ8 (AM osc+mix/ FM 1st IF)
- EF93/6BA6 (AM 1st IF/FM 2nd IF)
- EABC80/6AK8 (AM/FM det+AF)
- HL86/30CW5 (output)
- HY90/35W4 (rectifier)
- Comments:
- HL86/30CW5 heater is broken. I need to find some
replacement. This set has a strange heater
circuit design: small signal tubes are heated
with 6.3V from the main transformer. The output
stage and the rectifier are series heated from a
median point on the transformer primary. The
chassis is directly connected to the mains
neutral.
