Grandmother

Lilly Mae was my grandmother and was as soft and beautiful as the true lilly.
I love her and miss her so much. She was such a big part of my life,
she lived with us almost all my life,
she kept me in line and took care of me
and my brother and sister while my parents worked.
She had the sweetest hugs, What I wouldn't do
to feel just one more hug or to hear her tell me she loved me.
My grandmother knew just what to do and say
when I got a boo boo, she made it go away,
God how I wish the boo boo in my heart would go away.
Granny I love you and miss you so bad
I wish I could have made your boo boo's go away as you did mine....
