Todd Wayne Munsell
July 30, 1962 - April 7, 1984

Todd was 21 years old when he was killed one month before his college graduation by a drunk driver. He was a member of The Society for Creative Anachronism and we had just finished making his white leather armour (pictured above). Todd was a true child of the universe and though his right to be here was taken from him at such an early age, his life touched many others in a good and positive way. He is loved and missed by his family and friends.

Giving, loving, caring
And oh - so full of life
Managing to press forward
No matter what the strife
The SILVER LINING of the clouds
The Sunlight ray of hope
Oh Todd, with you now gone
How will we ever cope?
You stood so far above
Most all of us, inside;
In twenty-one short years
You gave us so much pride.
And, whatever we accomplished
You praised us with your cheers,
Now someone's careless driving
Has left us memories - and tears.
We cannot comprehend our loss
Nor do we understand
Why one so gentle, strong and good
Should be cheated of his plans.
To me you were my nephew,
My son, my friend and more
God! how I wish I could take your place
Give my life, and yours restore.

You've made me a better person, Todd ..... and I love you.
