That One

That One who, ages past, lit these stars in a dark sky
And Who, in time to come, shall snuff them out again
Who moved those mountains there up from the cold earth
And stirs, like blue light, across the faces of the holy congregation
Who shines in sunlight on the morning grass
Whispers to cicadas on the breeze
Runs with the horses in the field
And Who, Vast as He is, and Wonderful, flows, like water, through our warp of time and space
That One dwells in my heart, speaks to my soul with every breath I breathe
Day's light, walks by my side...
Night's guide, enfolds me.

What is Ki Energy?

Everywhere I look,
I am already there.
Everywhere I move,
I am already dancing.
Everywhere I feel,
I am already vibrating.
Everywhere I show myself,
I am already Loving.

Ki Energy is the Key to:

Energizing yourself with the pure, original creative life force of the universe, so you feel bright, vibrant, expressive and powerful.

Transforming yourself, creating the mind, body, and life you've always wanted.

Radiating positive energy into your environment, so that you reduce stress and discord and promote peace and harmony.

Forming great relationships where you enjoy love without depencency and express individuality without conflict.

Staying healthy, feeling young, strong, and well balanced physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

Taking charge of your life so that you are a creator and an actor on your life path rather than a victim and a reactor.

Wedding Toast - Best Man

Wedding Speech-Best man

I rise for a toast, for I’m the best man,
Because Mike and I have been brothers, since time for me began.
He is older by four, but still a best friend,
So don’t worry Mikey, I’ll say nothing to offend.
When I sat down to think about my life with him,
There were so many stories, I couldn’t possibly finish them.
But there is one story when we were just kids,
That made everyone shake their head and cover their eyelids.
It sticks in my mind as a bright sunny day,
Just a couple of kids out to play.
While tossing the ball, he noticed the car,
Had started to roll down the driveway a bit far.
As the car picked up speed, Mike took to flight,
Grabbed on to the bumper and pulled with all his might.
Now, maybe superman, Hulk Hogan, or He-man I’d say,
But Mike was not stopping the car that day.
Refusing to give up, he was pulled to his knees,
And dragged like a rag doll 25 yards with ease.
We all watched in agony and perhaps admiration,
That this little guy had such guts and determination.
When all was over, he arose battered and bleeding,
The gravel he was pulled through gave him quite a beating.
Indeed he had paid an exhausting price,
But mom was right there with kisses and ice.
The story ends there, but a point is to be made,
That the torch has been passed on this glorious day.
Kelly and Mike have said vows for life,
Through good times, happiness, and even through strife.
When each is dragged down as Mike was that day,
The other will be there to make it okay.
Like mother did which was always so nice,
They will be there for each other with kisses and ice.
Mike’s been a great brother so far I’ll admit,
And I’m happy and honored to be up here to say it.
You see, when we were younger, I just have to mention,
I’d do anything I could to capture his attention.
The best days I had were when he beat me in play.
Along with his friends sitting up here today,
They’d punch me in the shoulder and throw me to the floor.
And I’d get up eagerly and ask for more.
To me that was cool to be part of his gang,
Even though it meant having to put up with the pain.
And then there were times we went fishing with dad,
And you guys laughed yourselves silly at the horrible luck we all had.
We’d sit on the boat in the middle of the lake,
While I’d tame your boredom by playing with the bait.
It’s been a long time since those days in the past,
But I know in my heart that they will not be the last.
Mike, you’ve set standards for me I’ve worked hard to hold,
Equaling is tough, and exceeding is my goal.
So seriously Mike, I’ve had so much fun,
And I hope you all get a sense of mom and dad's first son.
Such a perfect couple ending up as man and wife,
Is proof enough for me that God does guide our life.
It’s time for a toast, to my brother and his bride,
I love you both dearly, and I say this with pride.
Now let’s all lift our glasses to the happiest man I know,
And to Kelly his lovely wife, the one who made him so.

Best of luck to you guys!

Stephanie Stickler's daily routine

Stephanie arrives to work with a smile on her face,
Her attitude is positive thru this hectic life a.k.a. rat-race.
She downloads her music, plays it loud.
Sings the words with an attitude that's proud.
Cats and dogs in the neighborhood howl with glee,
Now I hope she doesn't get mad at me.

In all seriousness,

A friend is the best thing in life

A friend is the best thing in life

A person is only complete
when he/she has a true friend
to understand her/him
to share all her/his
passions and sorrows with
and to stand by her/him
throughout her/his life

friendship does not depend
on being together
It is deeper than that
closeness is something inside of people
that is always there
ready to be shared with each other
whenever the need arises

It is such a comfortable and warm feeling
to know that
people have such a lifetime
with friendship
There are many people
that we meet in our lives
but only a very few
will make a lasting impression
on our minds and hearts
It is these people that we will
think of often
and who will always remain
important to us
as true friends

Temptation

Temptations seldom come through the front door of your life.
They crawl through your open windows and drop down your chimmey.

Where Are My Children?

Where are my children?
I miss the sound of their little feet as they ran...
catching the stars that surrounded them.
I miss their smiles as the slept upond my clouds....
I miss their dreams that gave the sun it most glorious rays.

Where have all my young men gone?
Their work they have abandoned.
The ladder they supported to my heart grows
weak and is about to break.

Young maidens who helped me keep safe the babies...
Why are you running around getting wet in the waves?
Stop crying now, and perhaps the tide shall be called back.
Where is all the green land I laid before your feet?
All I see now is filth and grime,
and the acts of sin is far too deep

Come Home!!
Just lay down what your doing...
LQQK up! Call my name!
I promise I will hear your claims!!!
But you all MUST KNOW THIS ONE LAST SIMPLE ACT,!!!
is your last free will choice.

God Can You Hear Me?

God can you hear me?
Can you see me?
Can you feel me?

God will you help us?
we're tired of the fighting and the way we live.
we're tired of starving we're even tired of our sins.

We want to come home now it's getting darker outside
we want to come in.
Or could you come to us now and live within?
Inside, beside outside we don't care!
We just need our daddy's hug- just to know you're still there!

Seat of Our Pants

We're all just hanging in here by the seat of our pants Lord.
More often then not we're not sure what we're even supposed to be looking for!
Some say it's our true self - Some say it's you - Some say it's our own very soul.
So this is just a short prayer..Letting you know' we're all trying hard-and hoping we're not just merely digging our own hole!!!

Somebody

Somebody's going to scare the hell out of us..
not by rain or thunder, sleet or hail!
But somebody's going to free us from this pain we feel.
It's not going to be exactly as the Bible read, or the sermons you heard.
It'll be by someone the world will know as the little bird.
feeling skeptical and vain?...Mister rich man in the rain??
feeling smug and satisfied?....pretty lil butterfly...
Try feeling safe and sound..for LOVE is alive and has certainly been around.
Living on the edge... This lil one who's to be the bridge.
Living right next to you..Some has even called her neighbor.
But none ever dreamt she could someday be called their savior!
When you see her, reach out and she will touch you
Feel her, touch her, feel safe now within her embrace.

Nineteen Hundred and Fifty Five

Where were you in the year 1955? For that was the year I got sent here from above.
I was told from a human's viewpoint is how I sould check this place out.
And I am sad to say I've to this very day found nothing good to write home about.

Do you know where you were when I was hungry and had no place to sleep?
Since my arrival here I can count the times I've laughed, But not the times I've weeped.
Countless times for help I've held out my hand. Some of you were blind,
some too busy..BUT NONE OF YOU>>> but the homeless and drug addicts ever offered me help me in this land.

God's on his way with a blazing light!!!!!!!!!
I'll pray for you all..For I know I've put up a good fight.
Now there's still time for praying, and you should be doing so...
should go without my saying.....For He's angry !!! and sad !!!!
and I'll let you all know, He's more then just a little mad !!!!
SO you and you and yes even you!!!!!Fall on your knees. As I finally get to slip out of this your world with ease....

An Eastern Proverb

The following is not my poem - it's an old Eastern Proverb that I learned when I was 12 and still remember to this day:

He who knows and knows he knows
Is a wise man - seek him
He who knows and knows not he knows
Is asleep - wake him
He who knows not and knows he knows not
Is a child - teach him
He who knows not and knows not he knows not
Is a fool - shun him

The Things You've Said
Sitting here, thinking of you
the sweet things you've done
how happy you make me
thinking of all the things you've said
that made my heart melt
*reminded*
the things you've said
they keep playing over and over in my head
The things you've said, could they be the mother of my tears?
The hottest girls, how you would do anything for them, your very beautiful girlfriends that you've left behind
You loved them so much, they were so perfect
Why am I crying? These things you've said, tear me up inside
As I sit here, looking at this outcast, My reflection whispers back to me- I'm ugly, I'm nothing, those other girls are better than me
Your words are destroying me, my sweet, I love you, and you love them
Does this have a purpose, to tell me I'm worthless?
You've brought me to tears more than once...
Why must you relive your perfect love for those perfect girls, when your listener is me?
I've tried to hold back my tears, but my heart is drowning, I pray for this to all be behind me soon
I'm lost in the ashes that are my saddness, where can I find your love?
Everytime I think of those words that you've said, or when my passion is broken by their rebirth, they swallow me up
It may be jealousy, I'll be the first to admit, but only because I wish your love was mine
And now in pain, as my burning tears are shed, I'm begging you, my love, let the vision of your past loves fade from my mind, please don't quench the thirst of sadness with my tears
Please my Heaven, let me be your angel

Just A Quote, Actually Two
First one: Grab a root and growl "as said by my grandfather"
I think what he was trying to tell me was when you see something in life that you want or need, grab ahold of it and don't let go. Basically to never give up
Second one: This boy is one hard dog to keep under the porch
I don't know where it originated from. I heard it on a cartoon and thought it sounded cool I think it fits me properly because I don't like to be cooped up. I am always on the go.

When I Say..."I am a Christian"
When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I get lost!"
"That is why I chose this way."

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved.

That Old Song
"I don't know why Jesus loves me
I don't know why Jesus cares
I don't know why he sacrificed his life
for me, Oh... but I'm so glad
I'm so glad that He did."

The words of that old song
still ring in my heart today
it sings about the love of Jesus
and that came from heaven
just to show us the way.

That old song gives me joy
finding Jesus as my savior
was better than any new toy!
The Jesus who washed my sins away
The Jesus who promised near he
would always stay.

That old song talks about him
and of how Jesus paid the price
out at calvery upon the cross
so that no one had to be lost.

That old song of grace
I still sing each day
for I love the name of Jesus
and he leads me along the way.

That old song helps me
as I use my faith
to trust fully in Jesus name
and in his love and grace
I shall forever remain.

Swingin' My Boys
I was sitting in the backyard
swingin' my boys
blowing them bubbles,
just for the joys!

When my 5 year old, Woody,
with all the purity of
childhood innocence in his eyes, asks...
"Have you ever been so happy?"

His question surprised me,
and really made me think.
As my heart swelled with love,
I answered with a wink.

"As a matter of fact,
No I haven't, this is really nice!"

Keep in mind, for a child
the simplest things are often the best
sometimes just being together
takes care of the rest...

Missed Friendship
I know we've been drifting apart,
But you are always in my heart.
You'll always be my best friend.
I'm here for you til the very end.
We're not as close as yesterday,
But best friends we will stay.
We've both made some mistakes in the past,
And yet our friendship will last.
You'll always be the miracle that saved me.
The miracle that opened my eyes and made me see.
Thank you for listening when I needed to talk.
Or going with me when I needed to walk.
Thanks for just being there.
To let me know that you care.
I care for you.
I'm alone and feel so blue.
I wish you were here to talk to.
I love and miss you.

Untitled
An empty heart, like a silent well
She stares at the floor where her tears last fell
She has no feelings aside from the pain
She knows she can never laugh again
Tears won't help ~ nor will love
Her pain is all she's thinking of
She has no fear ~ all hope is gone
She has no desire to carry on
She's falling apart and drifting away
She fades a little more with each passing day
No one can help ~ it's way too late
She's been consumed by self-loathing and hate
There's nothing anyone can do to make her see the light
Her day has suddenly darkened ~ giving way to night
She's lost in her confusion ~ drowing in her sorrow
She's been unjustly robbed of her destined tomorrow
In herself she sees no friend
So she decides to call this the end...

For Vicki Margaret

My laughter turns to tears
My heart begins to break
This empty void without you
Is more than I can take
My eyes fill with tears
My heart begins to melt
My memories are fading
Of a love so deeply felt
My hope turns to despair
My joy gives way to sorrow
Every new day brings another
Unwanted tomorrow
Life without you is killing me
I don't think I can go on
How on earth can I survive
Now that you are gone?
I knew all along you were dying
I watched you slowly slip away
It broke my heart to see you
As you fought so hard to stay
Even though you're gone
You're love lives on in me
What a perfect soul you were
The world will one day see...

The night became day just for one hour
The taste of a lemon was no longer sour
The tide in the sea it just stood still
It won't happen again no it never will.

The world it stopped spinning just for a second
All these things happened cause something had beckoned
And all the great trees a thousand years old
Just bowed down their heads the day they were told.

A baby called Sarah was born on this night
My world changed completely from darkness to light.

Bringing Light One Wink at a Time
Have you ever noticed how a child reacts to a wink?

How men perk up on receiving a wink?

What about the women of the universe - we enjoy the wink of the eye.

The benefits of the wink are many - the giver gets a chance to exercise their eye muscles the receiver generally respond with a smile and/or a return wink. The giver while winking can't help but smile.

So keep the light going. Wink and Smile.

Heart of the Storm
My heart floats on clouds of gray
It's heavy and fills with sadness with each passing day

A light streaks across the sky
I feel like I'm about to cry

The sound of thunder shakes the ground and you feel my pain
The clouds open and my tears flow past you as the rain

As the wind whips around your face
It's my heart that will be able to trace

All the pain within your eyes
I'll soak it up and take it to the skies

And if by chance the clouds send hail
You will know as I, my heart was doomed to fail

So everytime you see the sky turning gray
Think of me, I'm soaking up the world's pain along the way

Everytime you see lightning
It will be the tears that I'll be fighting

And when the thunder starts to rumble
You will know my efforts begin to tumble

And pretty soon my tears fall again as the rain
To wash away all your pain

SIMPLICITY
I look at God in the eye
And see not my unknown self.
But the brown, blue and black colours
Which makes me see my unknown self.
I hear the birds in the trees
And dream not of a tuneful melody
But of their lives on that oak tree.
I look at the sunset each day
And see not the beauty
But the red streaks and yellow streaks
Which are more beautiful to me.

I meet the great people of civilisation abound
And see not their great deeds
But their finely tuned senses
Of controlled simplicity.
In barren lands and parched deserts I stand
And see not the possibility of death
But the possibility
Of my eyes opening.

In the tundra I begin to waste
And feel not the presence of solitude.
But the welcome hope of a mind of ice.
Into the Grand Canyon I gaze
And dream not of reaching the bottom
But of the beauty of being at the top.
Into the battlefields of Rwanda I meander
And feel not the pain of war
But the end of humanity approaching
So simply, quickly and efficiently
That I close my eyes to sleep
With no dreams.

Beyond the stars my small eyes attempt to gaze
To analyse not the systems of systems
But the simplicity of just not hoping to reach them.
Into the eyes of a new baby my own eyes venture
And see not a crying new human being
But an amalgamation of two hopes, two dreams and a true friendship.
My simplicity means that I can't argue.
I am best left this way.
"Progress in progress", always engaged.
But not ever
Never
By shunning simplicity.

Pressing On
One morning I woke up and saw someone I didn't want to see.
That person I stared at for hours was me.
The road I took:the direction I chose,
made all the open doors in my life close.
I realized you can't live in shadows and you can't change the past.
Painful memories are meant to teach not for the pain to last.
I realized today is only a condition-it could end or it could once again begin.
But either way you never have that day again.
Tommorrow isn't promised-the future is never truthfully foretold.
So I look at myself to see which way I've let myself be sold.
You can be what you want to be isn't that right?
Well in this world in total hate and darkness you have to persevere and burn bright.
Nothing is impossible that's what they say.
So why not attempt to just try ever day.
Maybe I can't win every race and fly,
but it sure never hurts to want to try.
Sometimes I can feel my soul scratching for air,
because I'm suffocating myself trying to get there.
I press toward a future I can't dream of enough or explain.
But everyday I stive for what I have yet to obtain.
I feel my spirit smile everytime I breathe,
because I'm pushing on and not going to leave.
Life may be full of things no one can control.
But there's always a time to take back what it has stole.
All my life I seem to tell myself some where there's more.
But there's always been more-if you just look at where you were before.
You're not where you want to be but you're not where you were-so stand tall.
Smile, laugh, sit back and watch it all.
If there's one thing I can say that will make any of this complete,
I tell you all step in-life is only a doorstep at your feet.

Pathways
I wish I was an explorer,
With the courage to find paths new.

I wish I was a venturer,
To take the paths now known.

I wish I was a visitor,
But none can go back to the start.

I wish I was a traveller,
And never regret ways untaken.

I wish I was a foreigner,
To resee old paths with a positive eye.

I wish I was a seeker,
To find those on my path,
So I never more walk alone.

My Piece of Heaven
A piece of heaven falls to the ground,
The one I love waiting to be found.
Each curve of his body, smooth and strong,
Each muscle and bone, right where they belong.
A star studded smile mounted on his face,
Each little tooth, perfect in its place.
His eyes reflect the deep ocean blue,
A breathtaking color, a heavenly hue.
His dark skin asks to touch,
I reach out and touch very much
With each long look and begging stare,
My heart is reminded of how much you care.
I close my eyes and dream of him,
When I wake up, I want to dream again.
Nothing compares to this feeling of you,
Knowing you're beside my, and loving it too.
A continuous dream of you & I,
How I feel for you I cannot lie.
My dream has come true and I am awake,
This was no CHANCE, I call it fate...

Goodbye Emotions

You hold him close and close your eyes,
A moment in life like this never dies.
He kisses you with such intensity and love,
A kiss from an angel from way up above.
He whispers sweet nothings in your ear,
And words that your heart longs to hear.
A kind ans gentle finger caresses your face,
These times set your heart in a pace.
Long looks of love and devotion,
Looks of sadness and gracious emotion.
Kissing palms and enlacing fingers,
On your hand his touch forever lingers.
But things can happen to the bad,
Anything: frustrating or sad.
The one you love could disappear,
Making you wonder why you let the little things interfere.
If you knew this would come,
Things you did you would want undone.
Minutes of lonliness and fear would be replaced,
But the moments spent together are in your mind, forever incased.
A time you should have said, "I love you",
Its now wasted, nothing you can do.
A reminder of what you should do to make your short like the best,
So if your love dies, your soul too will rest.
When you should have been there holding her hand,
You spent it somewhere else, can't you understand?
You may be here today, but maybe not in a week,
Thinking of what you could have done will make your heart weak.
Nothing can change what has been,
But redoing it in the future makes an impossible sin.

Peace
If you take the time to listen or read peace is not in the family home it's want and greed.
Not love nor smiles fill their faces violence and rage shows in all places.
Not patience, kind words, nor just plain fun but cursing and the urge to abuse fill everyone.
Why can't we enjoy the joyous times?
Instead we fight and commit crimes.
We receive lies and shame from man why not replace that with a helping hand?
That sounds good, don't you agree?
Like putting down the dirt and then the tree.
If we put in positive actions all negative will cease.
Then we will live together and finally have peace.

Somebody Should Have Taught Him
I went to a birthday party
but I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink at all,
so I had a Sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself,
the way you said I would,
that I didn't choose to drink and drive,
though some friends said I should.
I knew I made a healthy choice and
your advice to me was right
as the party finally ended
and the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my own car,
sure to get home in one piece,
never knowing what was coming,
something I expected least.
Now I'm lying on the pavement.
I can hear the policeman say,
"The kid that caused this wreck was drunk."
His voice seems far away.
My own blood is all around me,
as I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the parametic say,
"This girl is going to die."
I'm sure the guy had no idea,
while he was flying high,
because he chose to drink
and drive that I would have to die.
So why do people do it,
knowing that it ruins lives?
But now the pain is cutting me
like a hundred stabbing knives.
Tell my sister not to be afraid,
tell Daddy to be brave,
and when I go to heaven to
put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have taught him
that it's wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his mom and dad had,
I'd still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter,
I'm getting really scared.
These are my final moments,
and I'm so unprepared.
I wish that you could hold me,Mom,
as I lie here and die.
I wish I could say
I love you and good-bye.

My Internet Love
Four months ago we met online.
We chatted for hours at a time.

I was skeptical of you at first.
Always thinking of the worst.

But your words to me were so kind.
Always having you on my mind.

Your words seemed so true
Never once leaving me feeling blue.

I used to say to myself i hope you and i meet
Maybe find out what we developed online could never be beat.

Someday i want to show you my love and affection.
I hope you think its done with such perfection.

One day i want you to see,
just how much you mean to me.

The passion we share online together
is something i hope that lasts forver.

FINALLY.......

Our dreams of meeting was a dream no more,
I slowly walked up to the hotel door.

You opened it up with a smile on your face, arms extended for a warm embrace.

You were everything i thought you would be,
and now you were there just holding me.

The time we spent together was a dream come
true. For all ive been wanting was to be with you.

I would melt when your arms wrapped around me and our lips would touch..oh how i liked
that very much!!

The days went by way to fast.
I wanted so much for the week to last.

The time was now here for us to part.
My eyes filled with tears and sadness within my heart.

We stood there holding each other for awhile, gazing into each other's eyes..
and all i could do was let out little sighs.

You got in your truck and started to drive
away, My body stood still i didnt know what to say.

You looked at me one last time to say good-bye, But all i did was turn away to cry.

You touched my life in such a meaningful way..that all i want now is for you to
come back and STAY!!!!

The Light
A deep dark, dingy hole,
Filled with misery and self pity.
The walls are high and frightening.
No where to go,
No where to hide.
All alone in this dark, dingy hole.
Crying out just to hear my echo,
Mimicking me in a taunting voice.
Making me feel ever more alone.
Therewith a light appears,
Just as I am about to give up hope.
A voice whispers softly,
Telling me not to be fearful.
Reaching out to me,
With such compassion and understanding.
Pleading me to allow him to help.
I shrink away from his touch, afraid.
Sinking back into my dark, dingy, hole.
It is so much easier just to be left behind,
To be forgotten.
I want to stay in the dark for eternity,
Just praying to die.
But the light protests,
Not giving up faith.
Wanting to help me so frantically.
Always being gentle and kind-hearted.
Opening up his own world for me to join.
His world is full of love and hope for the future.
I take his hand as he pulls me up from the dark.
I feel dizzy and light-headed as I walk towards the light,
Looking back at my dark, dingy, hole of the past.
But he keeps me with him,
Talking so sweetly.
Telling me he loves me,
And that my life is worth so much more.
I enter the light with him still by my side.
Still helping me every step of the way.
I can see my life so clearly now.
There are no shadows,
Nothing blocking out everything I almost gave up.
The pain and sorrow come back.
Almost enough so that I think of going back,
To hide away in the dark,
Without feelings or emotions.
But he is always there,
Asking if I am ok.
Always a breath away,
Looking over me.
I am getting better everyday,
And I can see now,
That I am worthy of the life God blessed me with.
I know I have a purpose on this earth,
That I can't leave without.
And to think I almost gave up.
Almost taking my own sacred life.
But I shall forever and ever be grateful,
To the one whom guided me to the light.
To my one Angel on this earth,
Thank-you is never going to be enough.
I love you.

Flowers

Flowers bloom after spring showers. About this time heroes lose their powers, clocks lose their hours, cities lose their towers, because of flowers. Saddness, Maddness, craziness too, all because of flowers. They wither and die, and so do we, and believe me, it's all because of FLOWERS.

Sometimes

Sometimes when I'm in my room, I think of days gone by. I think of all my past boyfriends, it makes me want to cry.
The memories of these brake ups and what they meant to me, I'd rather have a boyfriend instead of climb an tree. But I've learned my lesson, to chosse my people well. I'd rather have a relationship as slow as a snail.

Mask of Happiness
Hiding behind my mask of happiness.
Not letting my true feelings show through.
Feeling alone and helpless,
Drowning in a pool of emotions.
Not letting anyone close enough,
To find the real me inside.
Putting on a charade,
For everyone to see.
Yet silently screaming inside.
A forced laugh,
A glass smile.
Fooling everyone into believing,
That I am content and happy.
Never to suspect,
That I am close to my breaking point.
Walking through my days,
In a solitaire world of my own making.
I am hiding.
From what?
So frightened of life.
So frightened it will hurt me again.
Not wanting to reach out,
No matter how tempting it is.
So I am hiding so nobody will know,
How scared I really am.
Hiding,
Behind my own,
Mask of Happiness.

There is a River
There is a River

There is a river waiting for me on the other side
eternally flowing from the tears I’ve cried.
And waiting for me there are those who have gone before
who will greet me with open arms forevermore.

There is a river waiting for me that never runs dry
where kindred spirits reign when their bodies die.
And waiting for me there are those who have gone before
who will greet me with tears of joy forevermore.

There is a river waiting for me that is filled with souls
of friends and lovers no life on earth could hold.
And waiting for me there are those who have gone before
who will greet me with a smile on that distant shore.

There is a river waiting for me where the sun always shines
and it is waiting for those that I’ve left behind.
And waiting for me there are those who have gone before
who will greet me with a warm embrace forevermore.

There is a river waiting for me that runs to the sea
where all sorrow is drowned and my heart is free.
And waiting for me there are those who have gone before
who will greet me with a kiss and I’ll feel pain nevermore.

There is a river waiting for me on the other side
eternally flowing from the tears I’ve cried.
There is a river waiting for me on the other side
that spilled its banks the day before I died.

I Miss It So
So many are gone and took with them
bits of my life I kept hid within.

The memories often return and make me strong,
but there's times they haunt and I can't go on.

So I write small thoughts down in rhyme
and wait for past voices to call, "it's supper time".

looking for what I am untold...
One stormy night you came

Gentle words you speak
as tears course down my cheek....

All my world hath been set right....
Searching, Searching, Searching
no more
For I have found what lies instore....

Time

Passage of time so sweet so slow
Woe that the day be more...
Travel of earth from moon to sun
Only that thy be alarmed...
Distance so far yet closer my love
To peace of one kind...
I shall not have thoughtess cares
To become blind...
Yet shall I love thee
Naught for beauty nor lust
Thine self I shall love...
Ye who spoke the light of sun
Darkness shall not come...
Thee the one my soul doth know
Let it be written

I saw you the other day
I saw you the other day
You glanced over at me
But then you looked the other way
I don't understand how that can be
Didn't you recognize me?
We lay eyes on each other after so long
Yet I still love you the same
I can't believe that we were both so wrong
But its you on whom I lay the blame
You knew that I loved you
So why did you stop loving me
When we were together it felt so true
But you said you wanted to be free
Instead, you just left me
I saw you the other day
You were with another girl
"She's my sister" is what I hoped you'd say
But what a small world
And it all turned gray
when you said, "She's my fiancee."

Purpose
God what is my purpose in life?
You must first talk to your brother and sister beings.

Sister Flower what is my purpose in life?
Well that is easy you are here to admire my beauty and my pleasant fragrance.

Brother Rain what is my purpose in life?
You are to dance underneath my many uproars.

Brother Sun what is my purpose in life?
You are to be the one who enjoys the warmth of my glow on you back on a summer day.

God I have asked my brother and sister beings what my purpose in life is. They all told me pointless things that are meaningless to me. There you are wrong my son. If there were no you than there would be no one to enjoy these little things, and there for giving your brother and sister beings no purpose in life. So your purpose in life is to enjoy every little second of it that you can, be it big or small

Oh my god!
Uh oh!
Here goes that weird feeling.
What do i do now?
Maybe I should...
Nah that is not right.
Then again if I...
No now you are thinking to much.
You should just do it.
But that is not you.
You have to know what is going to happen next...
That is just it you do not know what is going to happen.
You know what you want to happen but that never happens.
Uh oh it is decision time what should I do?

The Meal

We sit down you look as beautiful as ever.
The waiter comes and takes our orders.
He looks very odd and you get this weird feeling through you.
He takes our orders.
You order my heart and I order your brain.
We have small talk, but the atmosphere seems very cold, but I try as hard as I can to lighten up the room but it does not work.
Our meals come.
You rip right into yours without care of being messy.
I eat mine with precision only eating the very best parts and enjoying every little bit of it.
You are still champing down making a huge ruckus.
Then the waiter comes over and asks you to leave, I also get up to leave but you tell me to stay and enjoy my meal, which I will not be able to do because you are not there.
Then you say we should do something again but not go out to a meal.

But I corrected them, because everyone knows that a cloud is made of the peach fuzz hair on a baby's head.

Old Cottonwoods
I dreamt once to be on top the tops of trees.
Old cottonwoods seemed to hold some spell on me.
Their leaves whispered while branches creaked in the breeze.
I would stand beneath, captured, looking up at these.

So when chores were done, I would go
down to the creek where cottonwoods grow.
The trees grew close together, but not in row,
as each stood alone for me alone to know.

Seemed some spirit perched high up there.
It hovered unseen and lived off air.
With unsure courage I stood and stared,
feeling a breeze from only God knows where.

Now the years have passed and the big trees are gone.
They've been cut down and burned having done no wrong.
The wind still blows, but there is no cottonwood song.
I stand where I once stood, but no longer belong.

Dylan's like a piece of cake, everyone gets a slice,
we all made the mistake of thinking he is nice,
he can be nice, don't think he can't,
its just the way he acts, sometimes he can be so sweet,
sometimes he's just a brat.

But Dylan's such a player, it makes you want to scream,
believe me if you met him, you'd find out what I mean.

He goes through girls, it never ends,

smileing not to show me your

holding back your tears

I met a guy i thought was swell
He came and took my love from me
And now he wants to set me free

I ran right home and cried on my bed
Not a word to my mother was said
My daddy came home late that night
He searched for me left and right

Through my door my daddy broke
And found me hanging from a rope
"Daughter dear, what have you done?"
"You've killed yourself for one man's fun"

On her desk a note was found:
Dig my grave
Dig it deep
Bury me from head to feet
On my grave, place a dove
To show that i just died for love

Fun Run
I will arise and go now, and go to the starting line
Where I shall confront my fears, and battle them.
The pistol screams out, and the ground
Begins to shake, as I wheel out into
The frosty air, peculiar to those late fall afternoons.
As I begin to unravel all I can think is faster, faster
Faster. Here comes the sun, here comes the sun

Then my mind begins to wander.
Why do I put myself through this, for it seems to be
Hell on earth, to go until I can’t go any further, nor
Any faster. Why, that is the question.
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun.

As I continue to hurt, I realize
That my hands are not cold, but
Numb, as only such a fall day can do.
I am conscious only of my suffering,
Not of those around me, for they,
They do not matter. Here comes the sun,
Here comes the sun.

Just as I feel I have given it my all,
and think that I can’t go on, I hear voices-
Voices from all around me. Suddenly it is over,
And I have finished. Now I know why I put myself
Through this, as I gasp for breath.
It’s all right, I hear it in the deep heart’s core.

Mournful Poem

There is no food, but the belly grows.
The promise of tomorrow, but nobody knows.

My thought of heaven
To be w/ you and to hold your hand, to place near my heart as i know we will soon be apart, as I await for time to spend w/ an angel and to look into your eyes and never forget the starry skies, to hear your voice in my head just as sweet soft lullabyes to an infant, to see you walk towards me and i feel my heart leap into my throat, this is a simple definition of heaven on earth....

...all it is is to hold you near and look into your eyes, and dream of perfect skies"

For a Very Shy Poet.
A strong yet suttle wind blows across this field where I sit. It is carrying your scent. The wind rustles threw the trees and I swear it is calling your name. The clouds roll in quickly and cover the stars that light your face, so softly in the sky.

The rain begins to fall like the blood rushing from my hears, when I thinl of us apart. My love I am dieing to be with you. With each crack of thunder, my heart pulses in a rage. A rage that longs for your, unstably shy lips to press against mine and melt us together for an eternity.

I try to stand, but my knees can't hold my unstable frame. My body begins to shake, as I see your image before me. The image is not real, it is a trick of the storm. As the clouds part and the stars light your gentle face once again, my heart is starting to ease.

I still sit in the field and know we are only miles apart, but to me my love, it seems like worlds. I force myself to rise up and walk for home. My legs won't take me, they walk in a direction, I have never been. They are bringing me to you, my love.

What may be miles seems like minutes now, for I am coming home to you. But until I reach you I will walk and be with you in your dreams. So hold me tight, my love, and never let me go, as I for I will you.

O Friend!
O Friend! 'Tis time that fails! 'Tis time that lies -
And measures all with ne'er a thought for beauty
Truth and all that springs from love and duty,
Honor, hope and all that's seen through honest eyes.
'Tis time that marks not greetings but good-byes -
Blind to kindness, lame yet resolutely
Hails the loss and pain of temp'ral booty,
Accumulated while some friend or lover dies.
O Friend! 'Tis life and lives Life celebrates!
'Twixt turnings of the glass, our brazen dance
And all that parts us from the brindled Fates,
Shouts, Glory! Ever Glory! Life's advance.
'Tis time that fails! Where Life unshackled sings,
Along the giddy path that Freedom brings

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me

When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see

If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me:

I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time you think of me I know you'll miss me too

But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand,

and said my place was ready in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eyes, for all life, I'd always thought I didn't want to die.

I had so much to live for and so much yet to do, it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad, I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday, I thought, just for awhile, I'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized that this could never be, for emptiness and memories would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldly things that I'd miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.

When God looked down and smiled at me. from His great golden throne, He said. "This is eternity and all I've promised you".

Today for life on earth is past but here it starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last, and since each day's the same day, there's no longing for the past.

But you have been so faithful so trusting, so true. Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn't do.

But you have been forgiven now at last you're free. So won't you take my hand and share my life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for everytime you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.

... David M. Romano.
This poem was sent to my family after my Mother passed away. Though it was sad it was comforting also, because I know this is what Mommy would of said if she could and I know this is what God will say to all of us on that special day.
I don't know who the Author of this lovely poem is but I thank him. I hope this can bring some comfort to all of those who have lost someone.

Do everything. Love as much as you can ...it may hurt but it helps us grow.
Give all you have ... you may be poor but you will be content.
Always forgive ...your heart cannot afford not to.
Teach what you know and learn what you don't...Stay open to all you can...
But most importantly...dream your dream and then capture it.

Secret Garden

There is a secret garden
within the heart of me
wherein grows hope and peace and love
that keep me free.

Whatever circumstances are
outside the garden gate,
I know things will be fine
as long as I don't hesitate...

to call on God for everything.
He makes my garden grow.
And, I want to glorify Him
with everything I sow.

Somebody’s Angel

A tribute to my Mother and Dad,
who’ve often been "Somebody’s Angel",
and who’ve many times been mine.

Some say that angels come from God,
Borne here on wings snow white,
To touch some human being’s life
While on their heavenly flight.

That may be true, for so it seems
To happen, now and then.
Some heavenly being reaches down
To touch the hearts of men.

But there’s another kind of gift
That comes from God to men.
It happens when a human heart
Is filled with love again.

And this can happen any time,
On any given day,
If human hearts will hear Love’s call
And let Love have its way.

But human hearts are often shy,
And fear what men would say.
They also fail to see how Love
Could use them in this way.

And so they miss the chance to be
Somebody’s Angel when
A caring word, a thoughtful deed
Would’ve brought love back again.

So listen, friend, and heed Love’s call
To help someone in need.
Somebody’s Angel, on this day,
Just may be you or me.

The Sea

He said, "Speak to me of the sea."
And I said, "Beauty."
The beauty of crystal waves lapping at a tropical beach.
Or a proud ship laboring in running sea;
Of a dark ghosting beaneath a fire-red sky, Or lightning flashes in the
blackened heavens;
Of an albatross soaring above the emerald swell,
Of wind fraying the slate-gray sea -
The beauty of God, Himself, in the stars, the sky,
and the vast ocean.

He begged, "More of the sea,"
So I replied, "Power,"
Power to crumple steel hulls and splinter wood spars,
Or blow out canvas and snap chain cable;
To flood continents and drown islands,
Or carry life to a barren atoll;
To spawn deadly storm and wild hurricane,
Or a blessed rain and fair monsoon.
The Power of the hand of God across Man's earth.

He said, "It is not enough, tell me more,"
So I answered, "Hardship."
The hardship of a razor wind and freezing water,
Or a dying breeze an the salty swill;
Of a glaring sun and burned skin,
Or a black sky and raw wet clothes;
Of numbed limbs and weary body,
Or sleepless nights and the monotony of a watery desert.
The hardship of all who work God's sea.

He said "Tell me more of the sea."
So I said, "Challenge."
The challenge of a rising gale or shifting breeze,
Of a wild sea or a flat calm,
Of a torn lashing sail or an ebbing tide,
Of an iced deck or fouled anchor,
Of uncharted waters or strange shore.
The challenge of God to man, to tame his sea.

He asked, "Is there more?"
And I spoke, "Fear."
The fear of broken masts and rent sail,
Or open seam and strained hull;
Of shallow water and dangerous shoals,
Or deep oceans and mountainous waves;
Of gales of wind and raging typhoon,
Of lifeless puffs and starving crew.
The fear that God instills in those who travel his sea.

So He asked, "And what is the sea to you?"
I answered, "My life's Breath."
The breath of adventure and excitement,
Of challenge and wandering;
Happiness and fulfillment,
Despair and pain;
Of hope and youth,
Patience and yearning.
The breath that God has breathed into my soul, that
I should live with His sea.

Touching Shoulders

TOUCHING SHOULDERS

There's a comforting thought at the close of day,
When I'm weary and lonely and sad...
And it takes hold of my broken heart,
And bids me be merry and glad.
It gets in my soul and it drives out the blues,
And finally it thrills, through and through...
It's just a sweet memory that chants the refrain,
"I'm glad I touched shoulders with you!"

Did you know you were brave, did you know you were strong?
Did you know there was one leaning hard?
Did you know that I waited and listened and prayed,
And was cheered by your simplest word?
Did you know that I longed for that smile on your face,
Or the sound of your voice ringing true?
Did you know I grew stronger and better because,
I had merely touched shoulders with you?

I am glad that I live, that I battle and strive,
For a place that I know I must fill...
I'll learn from my sorrows, I'll meet with a grin,
What fortune may send, good or ill.
I may not have wealth, I may not be great,
But I know I shall always be true.
For I have in my life, that courage you gave,
When once I touched shoulders with you!

Inspirational Thoughts

Life is not an easy thing, it has its ups and downs,
but it is through love, sharing, and doing for others
that we become fulfilled. It is through hate, anger,
and predjudice that we destroy ourselves as well as others.

No man or woman is any better then any other, they are
all members of the human race and their differences and
diversity only serve to allow the world to grow and
learn. Regardless of our diversity: racial, ethnic,
religious, political, or any other, no group or
individual can claim superiority over another for that
defeats the purpose and true destiny of mankind.

Though violance, injustice, war, and hate are very
much a part of this world, it can be changed, but only
if it starts with us, by changing our own life and our
own convictions. It can be changed by winning over
one heart at a time through the example that we set in
our own lives.

It costs so much to be a full human being that there
are very few who have the enlightenment or the courage to pay the price...
One has to abandon altogether the search for security,
and reach out to the risk of living with both arms.
One has to embrace the world like a lover.
One has to accept pain as a condition of existence.
One has to court doubt and darkness as the cost of knowing.
One needs a will stubborn in conflict but apt always to
total acceptance of every consequence of living and dying.

Thanks to You

Thanks to you
The darkness has fallen
but my world is still bright,
all the stars are now out
but I'll have no worries tonight

The tears are dried and now gone
and my smile has found it's way home,
so I give much thanks to you
for I feel I'm no longer alone

Yes, I tried the streetwise ways
of get and take, and then take more,
so smart and head strong was I
that I didn't see the joy behind your door

but then my friends became few,
and as for happiness, I had none,
for I played with hearts and emotions,
for to me, this was the big fun

But then loneliness and pain found me
and I began to realize I was totally alone,
there was never anyone to come home to
when a long and grueling day was done

So I wondered just what should I do,
I even wondered if I could change,
but then you entered my life and heart
and now all things have been rearranged

With kindness, you showed me my wrong,
tenderly you taught me to be right,
like a strong reassuring beacon,
you brought me home with your light

With the steady light of truth
and the strong warm light of faith,
you saved my unworthy and empty life
before it was totally lost, and too late

Now, thankfully, Your glory I now know,
and your love and mercy I can now see,
you have eased my troubled heart and soul
when you could have just as easily disowned me

So I thank you Dear God, my Father
for the many blessings I have received,
Thank you my most heavenly Father,
Please hear my praise to thee.

pushed aside

No,
I don’t feel
as if something was taken away from me.
He pushed himself through me
and he pushed everything that was inside of me
off to the side.
He just pushed me to the side,
and all I feel is a hole.
There is a void where he used to be:
it’s always there,
and I wish that
like a hole in the wall
I could fill myself up with something
patch myself up with something
so that I would no longer have to feel.
But I can’t.
Anything to repair my injuries
would only remind me that I was injured.
I only wish that
I could push myself back to where I used to be
where I should be
and fill the emptiness inside.
As I rest my hand on me
I want to push myself back to where I should be.
where I should be.
But I can’t.
And every time I move,
every time I turn, or sit,
or cross my legs,
I feel the void.
And although the burning is less intense,
it is always there.
Where I was pushed aside--

If Tomorrow Never Comes

Words & Music by Garth Brooks & Kent Blazy

Sometimes late at night
I lie awake and watch her sleeping
She's lost in peaceful dreams
So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark
And the thought crosses my mind
If I never wake up in the morning
Would she ever doubt the way I feel
About her in my heart

If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way to show her every day
That she's my only one
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face this world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes

'Cause I've lost love ones in the past
Who never knew how much I loved them
Now I live with the regret
That my true feelings for them never were revealed
So I made a promise to myself
To say each day how much she means to me
And avoid that circumstance
Where there's no second chance to tell her how I feel

If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way to show her every day
That she's my only one
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face this world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes

So tell that someone that you love
Just what you're thinking of
If tomorrow never comes

.... A Story to Live By- Ann Wells (Los Angeles Times)

My brother-in-law opened the bottom drawer of my sister's bureau and lifted out a tissue-wrapped package.

"This," he said, "is not a slip. This is lingerie." He discarded the tissue and handed me the slip. It was exquisite; silk, handmade and trimmed with a cobweb of lace. The price tag with an astronomical figure on it was still attached. "Jan bought this the first time we went to New York, at least 8 or 9 years ago.. She never wore it. She was saving it for a special occasion. Well, I guess this is the occasion." He took the slip from me and put it on the bed with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. His hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me. "Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. Every day you're alive is a special occasion."

I remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when I helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. I thought about them on the plane returning to California from the Midwestern town where my sister's family lives. I thought about all the things that she hadn't seen or heard or done. I thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special.

I'm still thinking about his words, and they've changed my life. I'm reading more and dusting less. I'm sitting on the deck and admiring the view without fussing about the weeds in the garden. I'm spending more time with my family and friends and less time in committee meetings. Whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savor, not endure. I'm trying to recognize these moments now and cherish them.

I'm not "saving" anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special event-such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom.

I wear my good blazer to the market if I feel like it. My theory is if I look prosperous, I can shell out $28.49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing. I'm not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my party-going friends'.

"Someday" and "one of these days" are losing their grip on my vocabulary. If it's worth seeing or hearing or doing, I want to see and hear and do it now. I'm not sure what my sister would have done had she known that she wouldn't be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted. I think she would have called family members and a few close friends. She might have called a few former friends to apologize and mend fences for past squabbles. I like to think she would have gone out for a Chinese dinner, her favorite food. I'm guessing-I'll never know.

It's those little things left undone that would make me angry if I knew that my hours were limited. Angry because I put off seeing good Friends whom I was going to get in touch with-someday. Angry because I hadn't written certain letters that I intended to write-one of these days. Angry and sorry that I didn't tell my husband and daughter often enough how much I truly love them. I'm trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives.

And every morning when I open my eyes, I tell myself that it is special.

Every day, every minute, every breath truly is...a gift from God.

Home Page:Background on Ann Wells' "A Story to Live By"

The story by Ann Wells reached me by email about three weeks ago and is very dear to me. First of all, I know Ann well (no pun intended). She goes by Annie to her friends. She worked with me for six years in San Francisco as a medical photographer. She got married and subsequently went to work at the San Jose Mercury News as a news photographer. In 1996 she won a Pulitzer Prize for her photo of a fireman rescuing a young girl from a flooded river in Northern California. Last year she was nominated for another Pulitzer, but didn't win. In early March 1998, she called several of us whom she had once worked with just to say she had been meaning to call for a long time and had decided after her sister's death not to wait any longer. To each of us, she delivered the same messages (without the explanation presented in the story you reprinted): if there is anything you ever wanted to do, do it now if there is anything you're saving for a special occasion, make today that special occasion if there is anyone you've been meaning to call or write, do it today. When her husband sent us the emailed story from the San Jose Mercury News (reprinted the next day by the LA Times), we all knew why Annie had called us and why she had implored us to live each today to its fullest.

The first submission had a few lines added to it, to make it a story to be passed on to others -- like a chain letter. That was not how Annie wrote it and not how it was printed in the San Jose Mercury News or the LA Times. I only mention this because it IS a copyrighted story, and changing it may not be proper.

Anyway, I just thought you might like to know something about the authoress of that wonderful "Story to Live By."

Jack Keller

I Asked.... (Author Unknown)

I ASKED ...
I asked my enemy
How much he loved me
He said "very little", and turned away.

I asked my neighbor
How much he loved me
He said "quite so", and looked at me in the eye.

I asked my friend
How much he loved me
He said "much", and smiled that certain smile.

I asked my parents
How much they loved me
They said "very, very much", and embraced me.

I asked Jesus
How much He loved me
He said "this much",
Then he stretched out His arms and died.

"MY VIRGIN ANGELS"

Gently flowing the stream of melody...ocean of an endless magic
A divine delight of a finest silk...sparkles around a delicate music
Grandma sits with happiness of the blue skies....moves the castle of rainbow
Far away in the west...east promises a joyful crowds...an eye for beauty
Deep down of a virgin angel...how precious is the love of heart
Touch of a Northern crystal with diamonds of a thousand years
With Spanish tambourine she dances for the flute of the night...
With jealousy of her own...she holds on praying...hoping
For she believes....miracle of the Northern crystal is for her and only her
Blessed be with you...oh my virgin lady.....
For men can only imagine...of what we don't have is in you
A mind of pure and a genuine love

And so she keeps the beauty of heaven...deep inside of every stars
Nights and days the wild orchids glows...blazes the language to the world
Unspoken voices...she hides a tears....longing for a sun to share
White as the sun...cold as the winter...a candle without a fire
Spring she was happy...autumn she was glad...mirrors all around her bed
For when the snow melts...it melts forever...poor flowers of December

Tears of joy as the moonlight shows...
Here and then...she seek for a lantern
Hiding her fears of a million years...swimming across the silver borders
My oh my...the shadows of a virgin jungle...
Blowing wild with her soft silky hair around my shoulders
The tired musics of a long lasting winter...falls and invites the autumn
She cries in a small world...tears in her heart of pain she kept alone
Many wonders...the beauty of the Northern crystal...
Longing to feel...the diamond of a thousand years...
My oh my...dreams of the forgotten beauty
A touch of the finest silk of an endless magic with a delicate music
A pure miracle in every woman in the world...let it be you my love
Streaming along with beautiful melody...............
OH......My Virgin Angels

Anytime

In my Love, I stand, I fight
I capture hostages for God,
Break the bonds of sin, forevermore.

I slash, I shatter the fallacy of evil,
with God's Word, the first, the last, the only,
Rulers of darkness fall before my Sword.
Yet in success, I am wary of pride,
For I was taken by that sneak attack before,
Fallen in battle, like any casualty.

The demons, the scoffed at my plight,
for a moment I almost despaired, almost forgot,
Then came to me a most comforting thought.

I can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13

I said but 4 words,
Jesus, I need You.
Instantly He was there.

The demons, they ran for easier prey,
Jesus, He pulled me to my feet
I gave my thanks gratefully.

He smiled and said, "Anytime."
I still fight the Good Fight,
Everyday with Jesus at my side.

It speaks volumes in just a few words. Sadly, it's got no attribution since the author is unknown.

My Favorite Scripture

Love is patient: love is kind.
Love is not jealous, it does not put on airs, it is not snobbish.
Love is never rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not prone to anger neither does it brood over injuries.
Love does not rejoice in what is wrong but rejoices with the truth.
There is no limit to love's forbearance, to its trust,
its hope, it power to endure.
Love never fails...in the end three things that last:
faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love.

God is like this
I cannot see the wind at all or hold it in my hands,
And yet I know there is a wind, because it swirls the sand.
I know there is a wondrous wind, because I glimpse its power,
Whenever it bends low trees or sways the smallest flower.
And God is very much like this invisible as air;
I cannot touch or see Him, yet I know that he is here.
Because I glimpse His wondrous works and goodness everywhere!
