Sandlin, in the 45th year of his age.  Mr. Sandlin was reared up in Lawrence County.  His little children (from 5 to 8 years of age) stood at the brink of the grave with broken hearts, crying, "Papa's gone - Papa's gone!" which seemed to add poignancy to the grief of the broken hearted wife."

Sandlin, a youth 14 years old, was found dead on the public road, near Landersville, last Sunday evening.  He had been unwell for some time but was well enough to attend preaching in the morning, and it is supposed that he died with heart disease on his return home.  We deeply sympathize with his widowed mother and other distressed relatives."
