Hello! Fall is almost over and a cold wind is blowing our way. This is the time of year to sit back and relax, remember fondly the glory of the past seasons beauty. You used to find me curled up with a blanket, mug of coffee and a sketch pad on my lap. Now you will find me with the blanket, coffee and in front of the computer. Winter is a time of planning for me, planning for the holidays, planning for spring. This issue will reflect my days of planning. I will be talking about christmas, live trees, fresh cut trees, poinsettias, christmas cactus and using greenery as decorations. Hopefully you will find something useful in the knowledge I have gained from working in the retail enviroment. I will be bringing you information on basic landscaping design. It will come later in this issue. After all Christmas will be here before spring. Some of the most sought after plants in this area will be described, along with photos hopefully.
